My name is Noor Ameen Noordeen, and I am interested in applying for the revealed position at your property, with over fifteen years of managerial experience and overall around thirty years of experience in Hospitality industry and a continues desire to hone and improve my skills, I am confident I can be a valuable member of your Housekeeping staff, while I am familiar with maintaining several rooms for my current employer, Al Salam Hotel Khartoum.

Responsibilities:

Manage the Housekeeping team and supervise overall operation of the Housekeeping.

Ensure all rooms and public area are cleaned and inspected according to the standard.

Attend forecast and revenue meetings and all House Keeping meetings and briefings in the absence of the Director of Housekeeping.

Staff roistering, hold daily pre-service briefings with the team to review daily operation and inspect departments prior to each service.

Follow up and conduct on the job training regularly to develop colleagues job knowledge with documented records sent to the colleague development department on a monthly basis.

Maintaining positive relationship with employees and guest.

Monitor and report on the inventories of linen, guest and cleaning supplies.

Effectively handling problems, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary.

Maximizing efforts towards productivity, identify the problem areas and assist in implementing solutions,

Comply with the Hotel standard and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operation.

Flower arrangements for corridors, suits and lobby areas, if needed, in outlets to be organized with the indoor florist or exterior flower shop.

Coordinate with the laundry manager for linen availability. If running short of linen discuss with the laundry and try to solve the issue immediately for a smooth operation.

Liaising with Front Office supervisor regarding any group arrivals or top V.I.P. Arrivals, and advice accordingly to the Housekeeping Supervisors.

Preparing the yearly budget for the coming year and the manning of the Housekeeping Department.
