Additional duties consist of back up person for all Accounting personnel, including the AS/400 Operator and assist all personnel with accounting problems/questions in the absence of the Controller.
FINANCE ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT - Responsibilities were to assist the Vice President of Finance in preparing budgets, proposals, financial statements, including international financial packages, organizing and maintaining files, and various other administrative duties. Accounting responsibilities consisted of: bank reconciliations, preparing and auditing expense reports for all the sales representatives and other personnel, preparation of various tax returns, assisting in corporate acquisitions, working closely with the Sales Department in order to do invoicing for "special circumstance", intercompany sales, Coordinator for the MAPICS (Computer System) Steering Committee by scheduling meetings, training sessions, organizing all training materials, recording & reporting meeting minutes, and interacting with the regional offices in any situation dealing with accounting matters.
Special projects supervised and responsible for were Fixed Assets and Deprecation, the writing of company policies and procedures, the search for a Nationwide Travel Agency. Orientation of new Sales Representatives, Regional Office Managers and other new personnel on proper accounting procedures relating to their particular positions. Back up person for the entire Accounting Department.
