Software Technical Support/Software Quality Assurance January 1994 to November 2016-Advisors Assistant Holdings, Inc., formerly Client Marketing Systems, Inc., Pismo Beach, CA.

Started providing sales and marketing support and telephone software tech support for users with a CRM relational database software product that also tracks investments and insurance products the company sold to insurance and investment producers. As the company moved from Foxbase (DOS) to Visual Foxpro to Microsoft SQL server, I tested installs of the database and workstation software on all Windows desktop and server operating systems. Documented issues and insured all features in previous versions of the program worked the same after major platform updates. Used a program to record and run "Macros” or "Scripts" that repeated user input functions automatically to test each build of the software. Verified "Help" Instructions worked as documented. Tested software as a user, outside of instructions/directions, to be sure the software was stable and provided correct instructions if input was incorrect and didn't cause errors. Worked with Beta testers on new features of software.

Tested integrations with outside software within the program. For example: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Google, Financial Planning software, Financial and Insurance downloads, and Contact data importing. Testing operations as an "End User". Worked closely with software developers to communicate the User's needs/desires. Also, provided tech support for the tech support team. Manager

April 1987 to May 1993-Kinko's Copies, San Luis Obispo, CA. All aspects of running a 24 hour, 7 days a week photocopying business. Hiring, purchasing, inventory, training, payroll, scheduling, adherence to company standards were some responsibilities. Running and maintaining high production photocopying machines, color and black and white, PC and MAC electronic publishing also included in duties.
