ECG Monitoring of Basic
Rhythm Interpretation is
being revolutionized by
evaluating clinical
education intervention.
• Diagnosis of complex arrhythmias.
• Detection of acute often silent
myocardial ischemia.
•Identification of drug-induced
prolonged QT
•Underuse of QT-interval and ST-
segment monitoring.
•Retrospective study to evaluate
educational interventions to
improve compliance with AHA
monitoring standards.
•Human physiology,anatomy,
cardiovascular hemodynamics,
medical etiology,& cardiovascular
morphology.

attention - - i am THE candidate for you, the near miss, the near passed on, can't believe she exists, unexpected; yet surprising candidate. I'm not one in a million. I'm one in a lifetime. I am a highly experienced in the field of Cardiac Telemetry bringing 5+ years experience. My resume lists my qualifications, I inserted a clip at the bottom, of an email that an RN sent out hospital wide. So you have another's perspective. Here is why I stand out from other Telemetry Techs. Getting certified, or starting in this field, we are taught how to interpret a heart rhythm. We are shown pictures of rhythm s to memorize & identify. We measure the PR, QRS, QT, ST etc. and interpret it. Data shows the underuse of QT-intervals, & ST-segment monitoring, alarm fatigue, & documentation in the EHR. I guarantee that won't happen with me. Now, The first component required is the "Basic ECG Course" it teaches one the "Art of the Heart." The lines, dips, bumps, waves, & measurements.. However; The goals of electrocardiograph monitoring have expanded from simple HR,
& basic rhythm determination, to diagnosis of complex arrhythmias, & the detection of acute, and often silent myocardial ischemia, & identification of drug-induced prolonged QT interval in certain patient's for example. My 2nd Component "Advance ECG Course II" My Objective : is knowing the "Medical Education Angels 0CKFDUJWF Interpreting UIF NPSQIPMPHZ PG UIF Heart " 0CKFDUJWF **I 8IZ this is OFDFTTBSZ When to OPUJDe when B 17$ PO B QBUJFOUhT SIZUIN JT worrisome, rather than IBSNMFTT; PGUFO EVF UP DBGGFJOF BOYJFUZ BOE FMFDUSPMZUF BCOPSNBMJUJFT )PXFWFS staying updated & Familiarized with the intrinsic part of each patient's cardiac history before every shift to give insight on what to be monitoring for is PIVOTAL. DVF UP BOy VOEFSMZJOH DBSEJBD QSPCMFNs, one's knowledge of the Pt's history, & their expertise keeps one's mind heightened during their shift. All COMMUNICATION to RN is vital. DOCUMENTATION is VITAL. Educationally dedicating one's own time learning UP identify all Domponents of the cardiac electrophysiolgy, etiology, & morphology of the heart, with intervention coinciding with one's cardiac education has shown telemetry monitoring significant increase. 'PS example a 1VMNPOBSZ FNCPMJTN + 4JOVT tachycardia JO NBOZ QBUJFOUT XJUI QVMNPOBSZ FNCPMJTN, + nFX 3JHIU PS SJHIU BYJT EFWJBUJPO XJUI TUSBJO DBO BMTP JOEJDBUF 1& My heart is in Cardiac Telemetry, it's my passion, that's why I dedicate my time learning all I can, but realizing I'll never know everything. There are 4 broad rationales for arrhythmia monitoring I like to follow: 1. Immediate recognition of sudden cardiac arrest to improve time to defibrillation, delayed defibrillation is significantly decreased after in hospital cardiac arrest. 2. Recognizing deteriorating conditions that may lead to a life-threatening, sustained arrhythmia thereby prompting treatment that may prevent or mitigate the effects of a cardiac arrest. 3. Arrhythmia monitoring will, in many situations, facilitate management of arrhythmias even if not immediately life-threatening. 4. Arrhythmia monitoring can facilitate diagnosis of arrhythmias or cause of symptoms, and subsequently guide appropriate management. I find it to be prominent to know. Repetitively learning & training one's mind, teaching oneself what a "rhythm looks like", alongside "what heart is interpreting to you"" is captivating.
