Rendering Plant ( Prototype)
4-15-12 Named Plant Manager
Was able to now implement my skills in structure and organization to design a procedure, strategy and guideline.
Gear pumps, Progressive cavity pumps, Impellar pumps, William's and Davis Boiler, Material grinders, Decanters ( Drum
scroll), Westfalia and Alfa Laval liquid centrifuges, Kason Shakers, R and D Hammer Mills, Air Scrubbers
( New York
Blower), 3 Phase motors, Many types of gearboxes, Steam Pipe fitting, Variable Timing units, Programming VFD's for varying types of motors and installation start ups. Hired new people on, created schedules and developed them in ways as to cover when needed based on a 24 hr system. I was solely responsible for training all new members to be on par in skill and knowledge to run the plant. Pioneered spreadsheets for the operational flow of the product: Amount imported, domesticated amount, finished product
yields against import, waste, recycle and export of dry finished product. Created expenditure reports. Developed SOP's for safety and maximum efficiency. Indoctrinated an export log for the finished product
[(BFT) sold globally]. Commanded
skills in sales to handle all purchases for equipment and supplies needed for individual and plant operation.
Within two years the rendering plant (crew of 4) I had developed thru strategy, guidelines, procedure and coordination
weekly sometimes daily with the President and weekly with the Board of Directors and Upper had paid for itself. ($1mill
plus). Interest grew and became partners thru another company to install a similar rendering plant up north. I was an integral
piece of the business for the expansion that encompasses out of country plants being built and brought online.
