Reporting directly to the CEO. Hired to bring the firm’s financial reporting current from a six (6) month backlog and prepare for the firm’s annual audit. Brought current all Accounts Receivable, Revenue, Accounts payable, Commissions and Financial Statements. Successfully collected over 200K over 180 days past due receivables and brought companies AR aging to under thirty (30) days. Prepared payroll and related payroll tax filings for over 80 EE’s utilizing QuickBooks Online. Completed annual reporting for over thirty (30) states and resolved several compliance issues relating to payroll, employee benefits and contracts.

Axion Contact specializes in call-center services within the healthcare space. Axion Integration is a Saas company providing payroll integration solutions between payroll providers and QuickBooks Online and Desktop Versions.

As Controller I was responsible for the supervision and hiring of six (6) full-time accounting staff. Started-up accounting department after transition of ownership. Implemented all internal processes and controls, creating chart of accounts, financial statements, cash and sales journals, GL reconciliations and migration to Quickbooks and ADP.

Outsourced redundant, non-value added back-office functions, enabling staff to focus on more business-critical tasks. Billing, AR, AP, Multi-state Payroll (3000 W2's annually), Credit and Collections, Cash flow analysis, Sales commissions and Margin analysis. Procured all business insurances and managed all reporting and audits. Monthly budgeting, Projections on a consolidated basis and Ad-hoc reporting. Monthly Consolidation of financial statements for 6 (six) LLCs and conversion from accrual to cash-basis for tax prep and planning with CPA firm.
