I am writing to you today because I am seeking employment as a substitute teacher at District 65. I have 15 years’ experience working as a substitute teacher in the Skokie sub co-op. I have worked classrooms pre-K to 8th grade. I have worked all subjects including Physical Education, Computer lab, STEM and working with special needs children. I have also sat for detention and as a school nurse. I have aided disabled children getting on and off the mobility and wheel chair busses, aided them with jackets, backpacks and physical education dress. One of my best memories as an educator was when I helped a child with music therapy. A child was having a episode and I help them put on headphone and played Beethoven for them. Her mood elated from distress to relaxed to joy. Work History

2002-2017 Substitute teacher Skokie sub so-op. I worked extensively at Molloy school of Special Education in Morton Grove Illinois. I have been a long-term sub and a day to day for Lincolnwood, Morton Grove, Golf, and district 69, 72, 73, 74, 807. 1986-2002 Gladstone equine veterinary supply. I ran a logistics company where I received orders from racetrack veterinarians and supplied them with all the necessary supplies they requested. 1977-1986 regional salesman, Animed Inc. Factory representative for the Illinois, Michigan, Indiana and Kentucky.

1972-1977 North Western University Cresop-neuroscience laboratory. Professor Randolph Blake’s laboratory assistant, Paid for by the National Science Foundation. Researching special and contrast acuity in felines. I was the Chief feline handler during all experiments, collated all data and maintained all 52 cats.
