Administrative support duties:

• Arrange meetings and workshops for the Chief Directorate with internal and external stakeholders and provide secretariat service.

• Answering calls, taking messages and handling correspondence for the Office of the Chief Director.

• Facilitate implementation of HR policies strategies and plans

• Developed standardised templates, schedules and registers to support the implementation process. Implement and maintain systems, processes and procedures. In terms of Recruitment and Selection Processes: administer the application process

(collect & screen), Facilitate shortlisting and interview process, take minutes, facilitate the verification process, Draft submissions and compile post files etc.

• Issued, receive and reconcile applications.

• Developed and maintain HR systems. Develop / design databases. Capture/update information on relevant systems. Maintain hard copy filing systems. Maintain electronic filing systems. Safekeeping of personnel records.

• Reviewing the State-Owned Entities (SOE) Quarterly Performance Reports, in compliance with Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), Treasury Regulations, Public Service Regulations (PSR), Public Service Act (PSA), Batho Pele principles, Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE), Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act (PPPFA), Basic Conditions of Employment Act (BCEA), Framework for Supply Chain Management.

• Reviewing of the entities financial position (Balanced sheet), financial performance

(Income statement) and cash flow statement quarterly to evaluate the financial state of the entity.

• Reviewing the first and final draft of Strategic Plan and the APP of the SOE’s in compliance of Revised Framework for Strategic Plans and APP’s Implementation Guidelines and other prescripts guiding the entities reporting to the Minister of DMRE.

• Analyzing the State-Owned Entity reports and the preparation of a submission to the Minister, reporting on the performance and financial information submitted by the entity.

Special Projects Assigned:

• Tracking progress of the projects in accordance with the project cycle.

• Assisting with stocktaking of equipment’s for the Solar Heater Water Project provided by Central Energy Fund (CEF).

• Assisting with the verification of the Solar Heater Water Project under (CEF).
