Fill in for Operations Sort Manager as needed, while performing Trucking Manager position. Have served as “Acting Senior Manager” numerous times overseeing and managing entire location.

FEDEX EXPRESS, Philadelphia, PA, Operations Sort Manager. Oversee and manage PHL Sort/Ramp operation at Cargo City Location. Have managed operation for past five years overseeing Sort operation that provides critical service performance to 12 stations for local district. Manage 40 sort employees. Managed a Union environment overseeing 90 seniority employees and seven Field Service Supervisors. Responsibilities included maintaining budgeted planned hours, controllable cost, productivity, and 96.0 Bold Red Noon Service. Station Manager for Absecon, NJ location. Managed a start to finish overnight package delivery service operation at single facility. Responsible for cost and hours budget, in union environments, in excess of $500,000. Received APEX award Aug 2000, received 100% for loss prevention audit, 99% for national quality audit. Productivity is maintained at over 95% levels while reducing cartage hours.
