Corporate Quality Manufacturing Manager (Stellantis / FCA Corporate Headquarters) July 2018 – May 2021 – Support all Stellantis Assembly Plants

Managed a team of Process Specialists CoC’s (Center of Competence) for phosphate/e-coat, sealer, prime, topcoat and prep (prime, topcoat, finesse). Monitoring all NAFTA Stellantis plants and ensuring paint processes and standards are maintained and running effectively for vehicle production. Problem-solve (analyze data, determine root causes, develop implementation plans) and resolve issues which are affecting paint shop metrics and document appropriately. Proactively identify and pursue opportunities to improve operations by reducing costs, reducing energy usage, improve quality, etc. Provide technical support for specific plant operations. Understand and execute PFMEA, process control plans, manufacturing processes, and management systems as they relate to production operations.

Guiding the Supplier Quality Engineering team in executing APQP and PPAP processes, ensuring the consistent alignment of products or parts with established standards.

Managed a team of Corporate Process Auditors who conduct internal process audits of all Stellantis/FCA Assembly Plant Facilities (NAFTA).

For new launch and current production assembly facilities – created, maintained, and updated corporate standard operating procedures. Created new standard operating procedures for paint clean car program and finesse deck process including standardization of processes, materials, machines, and equipment.

Corporate Paint Supplier Quality Senior Specialist (FCA Corporate Headquarters) September 2016 – July 2018

Responsible for collaborating with suppliers to ensure the quality of parts, materials, and services. This includes working directly with suppliers as well as other functions including Purchasing and Materials Engineering to improve processes and to drive product and part quality.

Led, create, and sustain PPAP/APQP processes to ensure supplier’s product meets conformance requirements.

Corporate lead contact for purchased parts, and bulk paint shop applied production materials including pre-treatment, paint, and sealers. Play a key part in driving performance improvement of suppliers and increasing the supplier's capabilities to consistently meet requirements.

Point person for the FCA Assembly Plant Paint Shops for parts and bulk material related issues by leading root cause analysis, monitoring progress and verifying clean points.

Corporate Process and Facilities Paint Shop Auditor (FCA Corporate Headquarters) February 2015 – July 2018

Conduct corporate paint process audit of all assembly plant paint shops (NAFTA).

Interfaces directly with senior management at the plant level. Plans, schedules, and conducts paint process audits at each Chrysler North American Assembly plant.

Report on inefficiencies in production, process and manufacturing systems, inability to consistently follow standard operating procedures and lack of product quality.

Maintenance Planner & WCM AM/PM Lead (Chrysler – Windsor Assembly Plant Paint Shop) July 2013- February 2015

Developing and managing detailed maintenance schedules and work orders

Meets daily with Supervisors and Skilled Trades Technicians as required, to communicate equipment needs and upcoming plans/projects. Conducts daily floor walks as needed to scope jobs and ensure clear communication of work to be performed.

Works with Tool crib, Engineering and Techs to identify, procure spare parts. Maintains a BOM and critical spare list for all equipment. Upon receiving spare parts, removes from packing and verifies that parts are correct before kitting, staging, and scheduling job.

Receives and reviews all incoming emergency work orders, work requests and defect tags from the requesting departments. Ensures the request has the required information and is assigned to the correct department.

Creates detailed job plans for all emergency work orders and uses resources to determine scope and most efficient way to accomplish the work. Identifies and obtains materials and prints required to complete the work order. Consults with requester, Maintenance Supervisor, Engineers as needed before scheduling work.

Works with cross functional team of Operations, Maintenance Techs, and Engineering to determine PM effectiveness and optimize PMs to prevent future failures.

Performs post job reviews for all planned work to ensure tasks, times, parts, and tools were accurate and makes edits to job plans to ensure continuous improvement of the process.

Work closely with the Center Manager to develop and implement WCM route map, lead activities in managerial pillars, coordinate priority of WCM in daily activities of the Paint Shop, closely monitor progress and status of the E and F matrices, track and monitor all KPI progress regularly.

Responsible for structuring, scheduling, and leading the WCM Steering Committee, project board reviews, and step audits for the WCM model and expansion areas.

Review master timing plan and Paint Shop project activities. Work with PD to develop pillar training materials.

Complete regular plant WCM status update presentations. Work closely with the Union leadership and PD to develop high levels of WCM involvement in the Paint Shop.
