The employer company is local building contractor don’t have an exposure for infrastructure work, after allotting this work company paid mobilization advance, I have asked the management to purchase mini batching plant for providing bulk quality concrete required for clarifier water tank, but they spent money for purchasing other raw materials, formworks, coupling systems etc. which results the client withdraw tank work which is the most important and big job we had from client side, as the tank work is allotted to other contractor my need as concrete expert is over and local contractor and I decided to separate.

Sr. Project Consultant - Rachana Consultants May 2007 – Dec 2008 Work as independent consultant in & around Kolhapur by providing QA/QC services to local contractors this involves,designing of concrete mixes & conducting trials of these mixes at work sites, giving training to site engineers to enable them to control quality of work etc. Hardly found clients who requires these type of services in Kolhapur so hunting for the fix salary job.

Worked on M.S.Pipe line (water supply) 3030 mm internal diameter for PUNE Municipal Corporation from Khadak Wasala Dam to Parvati Water Works, Pune. Responsible for survey of an alignment preparation for chair foundation, employing men & machineries for excavation, concrete chair construction, receiving & unloading of pipe cylinder alongside the alignment, erecting & putting M.S.Pipes on constructed chair supports, welding of pipes at field, procurement of necessary material at site, checking & certifying the bills of sub contracting agencies conducting test of material, arranging third party testing at site. liasoning with client & consultants, preparation & submission of RA bills. Initially for one year work as QA/QC in-charge during this period, involving to monitors all ongoing project sites & implementing the quality systems, coordination with outside laboratories, designing of concrete mixes for various grades with different types of cement, coordination with outside Test – Houses, arranging & conducting third party Testing at project sites, Generate & upkeep the necessary quality records, establishing & handling central material testing laboratory etc. I worked very hard for this employer company, but when I went to native to look after my sick father, my vehicle’s driver misguide management and they ask me to resign,I resign the job, after three four days they sent a driver to call me to rejoin I refused.

Implementation of Quality Control procedures for company & sub contractors work force, Reviewed & interpreted design, drawings & specifications to ensure current revision level & correct technical execution of work, establishing & handling full fledged material testing laboratory at field, given training to technical staff for conducting the work as per the procedures compliance with ISO-9000, implementing policies & programs through quality control, conduct quality audits of job sites to ensure the contractor’s approach is fully satisfactory & compliant with the contract. Also conduct internal quality audits, conducting tests on material as per quality plan, upkeep the quality records, prepare weekly quality report & present it to management, designing of concrete mixes for various grades of concrete with different types of cements. The big achievement of mine during working on cidco’s Dronagiry Mass housing project, The site is at Bokadvira village near seashore, there was a need of pile foundation due to marine soil, client laid special conditions for designing of all required concrete mixes for the work particularly durable mix for pile foundation with sulphate resisting cement, company tried to design this mix with their highly qualified consultant . but failed to do so, before my joining at site chairman of company ask me whether,I can design the concrete mixes, I said I shall try, and I have designed these mixes and saves thousands of bags of cement for the company. They promise me special increment but not kept their word, during the period I received a better paying job offer with pratibha industries Ltd. At their mass hosing site at Kharghar, Navi Mumbai and I joined them immediately.

Production Manager – ACP Khopoli 1992 - 1995 Managed a R.C.C. Pipe manufacturing & allied cement products factory, prepare the production schedule as per the order books, designing of concrete mix as per the ISI norms ( IS – 458), conduct the tests as per relevant codes of standards, up keeping quality records, arranging third party inspection & testing at factory yard, issuing the products as per the requirements of client at their sites & overall administration & management of factory. Left this job having an opportunity to work with big company on large building construction project which I think I require to develop our own land at my native place.

Lecturer – B.T.P.S. Belganganagar - Chalisgaon. 1990 - 1992 Teaching & conducting practices of Civil Engineering subjects in Tech. school. This was established by chairman who have seen this type of public school during his visit to Canada. At this point of time it was very difficult to find job in construction industry so work here for about two and half year.

Engineer – The Indian Hume Pipe Co. Ltd. 1988 - 1989 Work on laying a jointing 1600 mm internal diameter M.S. pipeline (Gravity main) project for Khaperkheda Thermal Power Station at Koradi, Nagpur, supervising the laying gunniting, excavation, bedding, of M.S. pipeline, installation alongside the alignment. The job lost due to misunderstanding as I went on leave for three days and return after one week which was confirmed by sending telegram, but our Project manager ask me to return to home, I made a big mistake to run away from the remote site which falls in jungle area. Matter of factly I have achieved to control cement and sand loss and rewarded by giving special increment by the company at that time.

Site Engineer – Nikam Patil Associates, Shrirampur 1986 - 1988 Supervision of construction of Civil, structural & architectural work for, cinema theatre, residential housing colony, Hotel building construction, co-operative society office building, go down building, etc. Managed sub-contractor work force, inspected progress of work for conformance to contract documents. Revised & implemented field corrections to design errors, quality control, taking measurements & preparing R.A.Bills at work, verified & approved sub contractor’s bills, procurement of material at site, reconciliation of construction material, co-ordination with site & office, rate analysis of different construction items, reporting daily progress of the work to office. Doing this job in local firm for gaining experience and knowledge because there was no fix salary as such for doing this job. So, when received call from IHP and selection for the Engineer’s post I left this job.

Apprentice Lab. Chemist 1982 - 1983 The Rahuri Co.-op. Sugar Mills Pvt. Ltd. – Rahuri. Conduct tests on sugar cane, clear juices, mascots, Boiler water, Final molasses in laboratory up keeping of records of test results in files & presenting the copies to manufacturing department for controlling the process, etc.
