oIn charge of conducting complex criminal investigations involving person or property on behalf the agency

Homicide Branch

oResponsible for investing all death cases such as homicides, suicides, industrial accidents and undetermined deaths which occurred in the District of Columbia

oManage a heavy violent crime caseload

oTestify before juries, courts and administrative hearing regarding

oInterview police personnel and potential witnesses to obtain information

oAssist other police personnel has need or upon request with investigations

oWork on critical cases which receive media attention

oPrepare affidavits for arrest and search warrants
