DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Planning, Co-ordination, Monitoring & Controlling of site construction activities.

Schedule work activities and manpower requirements to meet established dates and timely completion.

Coordination with Client/Owner & Contractors for smooth execution of Construction activities.

Monitor and follow-up construction activities are conducted in accordance with approved work procedures, specifications and standards.

Preparing daily, weekly and monthly progress reports.

Preparation of Construction Procedures & Method Statements.

Preparation of QC Documents, Preparation of Dossiers.

Welding Procedure Preparation, Qualification & Welder Test.

To give Inspection Clearance to contractor as per FQP.

Vendor Inspection and material Identification.

Review & Acceptance of Material Test Certificates for All incoming Materials

To carry out the raw material inspection at vendor or supplier (Warehouse) end, like plates, pipes, elbow, fittings, flanges etc.

Supervise the job of erection, detail fabrication, testing and commissioning of Heavy Static Equipment Like Condenser & Related Piping, HP Heaters, LP Heaters, & Deaerators etc.

Supervise critical job like baffle plate alignment, Tube Insertion & Expansion work as per given procedure.

Piping Inspection: - Edge preparation, drawing verification, Fit-up inspection, Visual inspection. Offering of joints for NDT, PWHT as per client requirement. Line Checking( Carry out Inspection of A-Punch and B-Punch) Inspection. BoltTorquing inspection. Preparation of all the required documents and Reports.

Pre-commissioning Activities Finalize all testing activities like Pneumatic test, Hydro test, Flushing & Internal cleaning for Piping. Final alignment checking for Equipments Preparation of Punch list and confirming the completion of punch items. Preparation of all related documents.

Alignment of Equipment: - Witness the erection and alignment of Static and Rotary equipment’s, Inspection of level, Verticality, Position and final alignment. Preparation of all related documents.

Process Equipment Inspection: - To carry out In-process & Final Inspection of Fabricated Equipment’s, such as pressure Vessel, Column, Heat Exchanger Like Surface Condenser, Deaerator, etc

NDT Inspection: - Interpretation of Radiographic Films, Inspection of MT, PT & UT.

Expediting : - To expedite the drawing from design department to the shop floor. To make project schedule to assist to the shop in charge. To visit the supplier, sub supplier to verify the work progress.

Witnessed/ monitoring of weld overlay with SS316, SS316Ti, SS347, Inconel 625, Inconel 825 etc. using hot wire TIG, SAW, ESSC, SMAW, FCAW on various pressure vessels, heat exchangers, pipes, flanges and fittings.

Witnessing of Pickling & Passivation of SS parts.

Witnessing of Surface cleanliness & profile of blast cleaned surface.

Witnessing DFT of Paint/Coating by means of Non-destructive instrument.

Witnessing Destructive test like Mechanical Test, chemical Test, Adhesion test, Peel off test etc.

Witnessing of Rubber lining. (Spark test, Hardness test, Thickness check, Adhesion test).

Review of Radiography films.

Witnessing NDT Test like MT, PT, UT.

Review of Inspection test plan, Raw material test certificate, WPS/PQR, NDT procedures.
