Dear Immigration Officials,

My name is Otis Recardo Jamieson, the Managing Director of J & S Electrical, an electrical engineering company established since 2010 in Guyana and specializes in domestic and industrial installations, line maintenance, transformer repairs and construction of transmission and distribution lines. The Company presently has fixed contracts with the Guyana Power and Light Inc. as well as other smaller contracts. I have attached a copy of our Business Registration, a Statement of Income for the past three years and GPL’s most recent fixed contract. I am the ex-husband of Carmilita Shaneza Ali-Jamieson and foster father of Shane Alejandro McSherry Hackshaw and Xayne Kendon Ali.

Even though Carmilita and I have been divorced for many years, we still maintain a very close relationship. Over the years, we continue to make business investments together i J & S Electrical and property purchases. She also assists with the management and oversight of our business. I have treated both Shane and Xayne as my own children from the time they were born and assist with their upbringing financially and otherwise. I intend to continue my support of both children during their stay in Canada. Shane wants to follow in my footsteps to become an Electrical Engineer and I can see him taking over the management of our Company in the future. I am very proud to offer my support and guidance to him. I am committing to assist with living expenses for Carmilita and the children during their respective studies, including daycare fees for Xayne and Shane’s second year tuition and all his living expenses.
