Catalent Pharma Solutions – St. Petersburg, FL 2017 - 2022

Director, Human Resources - Corporate

Catalent helps customers in pharmaceutical, biotech, and consumer health develop, deliver, and supply superior products that improve people’s lives. Senior H.R. leader at the flagship site generating $300m revenues/$110m EBITA with over 800 employees. Currently working with a new 1.1B acquisition for Catalent to help transition the four HR departments.

•Proficient in problem-solving at a strategic level and possesses a working director mentality who “rolls up his sleeves” and builds efficient and productive teams.

•Advise and support staff in resolving issues and problems through coaching and mentorship. Serve as a strategic H.R. consultant for Senior Leaders on Human Resource-related issues.

•Led the COVID reactionary team that had over 70 employees ordered to stay home by the Governor, and ensured they all were operational from home offices within the matter for days with no disruption to the business.

•Led a market analysis for 250 hourly employees that resulted in an overall wage increase of $1.7m that resolved compression issues, pay scale, promotion, and development process, allowing Catalent to become more competitive in the local market by putting us at the top 80% of the salary market.

• Led Human Resources services for more than 3000 workers across 9 facilities in the USA, Canada, and Mexico, responsible for a budget of $3 million.

• Negotiated several CBAs with the Carpenter & Pipefitters Union as the Chief Spokesperson, leading to three-to-five-year contracts and a savings of 2 million in concessions.
