• Adapt existing in-country information management approaches for collecting, analysing and reporting Cluster activities and resources, and identifying information gaps.

• Establish and maintain information databases that consolidate, analyse and report/disseminate information critical to decision making.

• Maintain monthly reporting from Cluster participants, including 5Ws (‘Who does What, Where, When and for Whom?’ databases).

• Support the estimation of spatial and temporal gaps, overlaps and coverage of Cluster activities and projects.

Aim:-

• Ensure information collection is done regularly and is updated according to the standards agreed with the Project Manager

The Deputy M&E Manager supports the M&E Manager in supervising M&E staff countrywide, while directly overseeing the storage, processing and warehousing of data for reports. This position reports directly to the M&E Manager and their duties are: Deputy Management of the M&E Unit

• Supports the M&E Manager to ensure effective reporting, data collection and monitoring systems are in place, and to provide an enabling work environment for staff and their ongoing development.

• Prepares reporting materials and facilitates training on general design, M&E concepts, skills & tools, as well as all data collection and maintenance required to meet & exceed USAID requirements.

• Coordinates with program teams to develop and update program performance monitoring plans, and supports the M&E Manager in working with USAID on program implementation and updating.

Systems Design and Implementation

• Design a database and system of reports from the CAP List, Stakeholder Report, CAG and LG/LC member quarterly surveys, and any other data storage files that will allow for the easy and accurate data entry and reporting to USAID, CHF HQ, and CHF Iraq Managers.

• Supervise the data entry and analysis process into all data storage platforms, especially the CAG and LG/LC databases, and including the management of any short or long term data entry staff.

• Design appropriate reports according to M&E Manager and other Senior CHF Manager’s needs. Help M&E Manager produce any other USAID or HQ-requested special reports.
