I am writing to introduce myself, Umer Iqbal, an accomplished architect with a strong educational background and a wealth of experience in the field. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Architecture, where I graduated with distinction, securing the second position in my class in 2012. Subsequently, I pursued further education, completing a Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) in Environmental Design in 2016 and a Master of Science in Project Management in 2023. These additional qualifications have enabled me to enhance my professional practice with a focus on sustainable architecture. My architectural journey began in 2012, and over the past nine years, I have honed my skills and expertise. Presently, I am employed as a Senior Architect at "MAVEN Projects LLP," a subsidiary of October Holdings, where I contribute to consulting services spanning the entire construction project lifecycle, encompassing Architecture, Healthcare Design, Engineering, and Project Management. Prior to this role, I dedicated seven years as a Healthcare Architect at "Shifa Development Services Pvt. Ltd.," the healthcare consultancy arm of Shifa International Hospitals in Islamabad. In my current position, I serve as the Lead Medical Space Planner, ensuring efficient patient flows and health facility protocols through architectural design in alignment with international health facility guidelines, such as iHFG and FGI.

Before joining "SDS," I gained invaluable experience during my tenure with "Salman Mansur & Associates," a prominent Design Consultancy firm based in Islamabad. During this period, I contributed to a diverse range of projects, including hospitality, mixed-use, residential, institutional, commercial, and turnkey ventures.

My design philosophy centers on the integration of sustainable design strategies to deliver intelligent and efficient projects. My problem-solving abilities, effective client communication, and extensive project development experience have consistently positioned me as the preferred choice for managing complex projects. I am dedicated to playing a pivotal role in overseeing projects from conceptualization to successful completion.

Furthermore, I have had the privilege of working during studies as an Intern with prestigious organizations such as NESPAK in Karachi and Sohail A. Khan Associates (KINGCRETE Builders) in Rawalpindi during my studies. I am a Registered Architect with the "Pakistan Council of Architects & Town Planners (PCATP)" and also hold the title of Associate member at the "Institute of Architects, Pakistan (IAP)."

It is worth noting that in 2019, I was elected as an Executive Committee Member at the Institute of Architects, Pakistan (Rawalpindi-Islamabad Chapter). During my tenure, I held the esteemed positions of Honorary Treasurer and later Honorary Secretary.
