Work History

Independent Contractor- 9/2023- Currently working with a variety of companies across the United States helping them with various aspects of their recruitment process. Business Development, hiring, job ad writing, screening candidates. This is temporary work until I find an opportunity that fits my skillset.

Globe Life-American Income Division 2/2023-9/2023 Title: Supervising Agent

In February 2023 I pursued my Insurance License in the State of Pennsylvania to work for American Income Division. I looked at this as a new opportunity, a place to grow and spend more time focusing on selling and to also increase my income. In May, I received a promotion to Supervising Agent. As a supervisor I am also responsible for growing and recruiting my own team. Some responsibilities include policy reviews, which require scheduling meetings, reviewing what coverage the policyholder currently has and making recommendations if there are gaps in their existing coverage. Generate new leads and make calls. Writing job ads, posting ads, and recruiting additional teammates.

Team Builder Recruiting, LLC 2017-2023 Title: Recruiting Specialist

During my time at Team Builder Recruiting, I worked with Behavioral Health Providers helping them fill various Bachelors and Masters level openings. Quickly, I went from working in that industry to working with our small-medium size businesses. Reviewing resumes, conducting prescreening calls, scheduling interviews, and communicating with the hiring managers to ensure they were only seeing qualified candidates. My job was to them fill various roles, from warehouse workers, production workers and installers and carpenters to Senior Accountants, HR Managers, Sales Managers, and various other C Suite level positions.

Responsibilities in this role included, client intake calls, job ad writing and prescreening/interview questionnaires developed, job posting on various platforms, reviewing resumes, and moving candidates throughout our ATS, scheduling either prescreening calls or interviews depending on the level of search. Scheduling candidate interviews. Professional reference checks. If there was a lack of qualified candidates, I would source for passive candidates to generate a response.

This was an entry-level recruiting opportunity; The owner of this company recruited me based on my previous office experience as a Credentialing Coordinator in a medical office. I had attended a local church with her, and she reached out to me. My primary responsibility during this time was reviewing resumes and scheduling interviews for Behavioral Health Companies. Some additional responsibilities were professional references and writing summaries of candidates screened by the owner. Leaving this position for an opportunity to gain experience in the recruiting industry.

Conestoga Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery LTD, 1997-2009 Titles: Credentialing Coordinator

Growing my responsibilities at Conestoga Oral I went from working with doctors and patients and implant coordinator to front desk/billing department to credential coordinator. My primary duties were maintaining doctors’ files for licensure and insurance credentialing while also managing the collections and verifying insurance coverage of patients, input billing information and entering new patient data.
