Summary:

I have around 15+ years of experience in software development & Production Support. During my tenure I was involved in the development of various software applications and supporting applications.

Analyze and manage incidents/problem/requests coming from users, ensuring that production incidents and enquiries from the business users are followed up until their appropriate validation.

Primary responsibility is to provide first and second line application support for various in house and vendor based Products of front office and middle office applications

Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Relationship Management, Continual Service Management Process Improvement, Disaster Recovery Planning & Application availability testing.

•Provide proactive and reactive assistance to all external customers

•Drive complicated system related issues to resolution across multiple services and groups with little or no supervision. Summarizes key elements of a technical problem and assigns cases to internal and external partners as necessary

•Work with highly technical staff supporting Windows, LINUX, UNIX and SQL production servers and network devices

•Ensure a consistent method of incident management is followed, including classification, escalation paths and communication protocols

•Respond to server and network related support issues affecting agent tools, and ensure they are resolved to the customer’s satisfaction and accordingly to SLA

•Initiate and drive process changes designed to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction

•Develop standardization and consistency through process, procedures, change control and workflow management to ensure service

•Monitor multiple automated scheduling packages, Follow established escalation procedures reporting any delays or problems to the lead or Manager

•Work with Problem Resolution Coordinators to identify training opportunities and documentation development

•Detects and analyzes alarms to provide basic to moderate fault isolation and troubleshooting, escalating to Tier III or management if necessary

•Tracks results to ensure that performance benchmarks are in place and measurements accurately reflect the workload and service expectations

•Level 2 Application Support for the bank’s Capital Management, Payment, Loan, Trade finance, Capital Market, and data warehouse systems.

•Troubleshoot and resolve incidents and requests of business users related to the bank’s core system within service level agreement (SLA) through call, email or ticketing system.

•Conduct and facilitate problem solving sessions to permanently resolve problem or recurring incidents.

•Provide 24/7 support for critical batch issues and resolve issues in a timely manner. Work with different IT teams across development, infrastructure and production support to assess the status or health of the application.

•Constantly communicate with business users to identify improvements in supporting the system.

•Participate in Business Continuity program from preparation, rehearsals to actual BCP.

•Effectively helps lessen the number of tasks by providing continuous improvement initiatives like developing tools to automate manual process and improving existing business process.

•Create solution and standard operating procedure (SOP) documents

•Handle escalated incident tickets and work with members of the team and developers

•Support the resolution of high impact incidents, including attendance at Incident Bridge / conference calls.
