Review the file for appropriate documentation and input any changes into the system to re-run for a correct automated underwriting (AU) determination. Update all parties with the proper file status.

Supported mortgage loan process from conception to closing; prepare accurate and complete mortgage loan documents, income and asset documents, prepare and send out pre-closing disclosure and final closing disclosure, order title work and flood certifications, send appraisal request per Fannie Mae’s Appraisal Independence Requirements, submit mortgage loan application file for underwriting approval, follow up on any missing or questionable documents per Underwriter conditions, and communicate loan status to stakeholders to ensure a transparent and effective closing process.

Compiled and submitted all files to an Underwriter and reviewed any conditions when received from underwriting. When all conditions were received, updated the computer system and resubmitted it to the AU system.

Curated monthly key performance indicator (KPI) reports capturing loans in process, loans closed, loan conditions, timeline exceptions, and interest rates to showcase volume and success to Loan Officers, Processors, and Underwriters.
