Goal

Being an integral part of a team; Helping raise and/or educate children to become the best people they can possibly be.

Accomplishments

My greatest accomplishment would be raising my Sons into amazing men! My career has always made me proud; centered on educating children of all ages and needs, as a nanny, in a school system, through animal therapy, aquatics, athletics, artistically or court ordered tough love.

Cross trained in CPR-First AID, AED with the American Heart Association and the Red Cross. Experience

March 2023- present day

Amelia and Mark have the sweetest twin infants and an extremely intelligent four year old boy. I learned how to be ambidextrous and even more efficient with my time, because every second matters to complete all the tasks at hand! I got my steps in just taking the babies upstairs for naps. I helped them with anything they needed because time is as important as these precious babies. I have laughed and fallen in love little ones grow. Limited time was spent playing with the 4 year old. June 2022 - March 2023

Jeff and Steph have an elementary school age boy and a one year old baby girl. They live on a wonderful little farm complete with dogs, horses and goats. This summer has been extremely busy with a variety of day camps for the older boy, the little one has swim and music classes two times a week. Mom travels out of town often. At the house, I help with laundry, meal prep etc etc on top of extra homework. I try to keep things running smoothly. September 2021 - June 2022

Layla and Antonio have a Mighty MIRACLE BABY! He is now 3 years old and nothing but love, light and charisma! He kicked Cancer's Butt before he was 2 years old! Mom is also a client because she is living her life with MS. I gladly care for their every need. Anything that needs to be done, whether it is medical, personal, educational, or just good old fun. These months have flown by, they are more like family.

November 2019 – March 2020 COVID 19 Closed the World Palm Bay Academy

I was hired to be a part time teaching assistant for one specific third grade classroom. However after proving my worth, my skills were happily used in many different classrooms and scenarios. I was absolutely thrilled to be needed and helpful! I totally enjoyed every minute until the pandemic of 2020 stopped the world in its tracks! June – September 2019

This period of time was full of many short term and part time families. I loved all the families but required more stability.

April – May 2019

The beachside boys of Summer (Mom) And Pediatrician Dad. Summer had a Spring health scare and needed an extra set of hands for her two vivacious, special needs boys. My biggest job was getting both children in the van and successfully to a full day of Public School. This was not as mundane as one would think. Both elementary age boys are on the spectrum and have many highs and lows. School was frustrating for them and life was chaotic with Mom under the weather. During my time with the boys, I planned and supervised three birthday party events and also an Easter egg extravaganza. Many hours were occupied in the pool or at the beach, when the task of getting to school was unsuccessful. While in this household I found it necessary to lock up my belongings, keep my keys, phone on my person and be ready for Anything! This position ended up being very short term. March 2019 - until I moved to Colorado in 2022

Adam and Jessica; Jessica and I met through our mutual admiration of our favorite yoga instructor. They are new parents to the most handsome little guy, Camden! I really think Cam is Benjamin Buttons in disguise. When I started he was almost 4 months old. He has a full head of bright orange hair. Do not let his tiny stature fool you! He is mighty and extremely intelligent! I still spend time with Camden whenever I am needed. I love watching him grow and change. As of 2020 Camden is a big brother to Baby Jack. August 2016 – January 2019

Zach and Stephanie; When I started, I was working only three days a week with their darling little girl. Parental trust was slowly earned. I started working a full 50-hour week. At first, we couldn’t leave the safety of the house. I have to say that I fell madly in love with this child. I could eat her up with a spoon! She is the epitome of a girly girl, loves shoes, clothes, baby dolls and carries a small size purse, complete with pretend credit card and cell phone. She grew into a Threenager! This is also when her little Brother came home, and she started Pre-VPK. My week was reduced to 3 days and I started caring for the little man more than the older sister. I do it all with these guys! We play! We go and do everything and anything, from Mom’s group activities, the zoo, art and play at Gymboree, the beach, parks, etc., etc. Helping them sleep is my specialty. Sleep is a bad word to these two! This house is complete with one dog, who also loves me! Laundry and anything else in the household that needs to be completed is part of my job.

August 2016

Jason and Kelly have four fabulous children. The oldest daughter lives with a severe neurological syndrome, leaving her stuck within her own body. She needed full time around the clock care. This house kept me and Mom so busy, eating for oneself was a luxury. Mom had been injured and was not able to handle these guys without some extra help. Three out of four children were in diapers and in highchairs for meals. Everyone had a unique schedule and an extremely specific diet. Staying focused on details and learning each child’s needs was imperative! Being a team player was a must for everyone’s health and functionality. I learned a lot about what a person can do, if one sets their mind to it. This family was happy and blessed. I was grateful to be a small part of their lives!

August 2016-continue to present

Michael and Jessica; I met Jessica while I was enjoying time at Gymboree with another client. I have worked on multiple days on an as needed basis ever since. Their little girl is quiet, shy and tactically hesitant. However, after a time when she trusts you, she comes out of her shell, she is full of life and inquisitive! Her love for music and controlling ALEXA is hysterical. I have had the pleasure of growing with this family through many years! Some days I visit for a couple of hours. Some days we go on excursions to the Zoo or to a park. When Mom is out of town on business, I pick up or drop off at school when needed. Doggie daycare is part of my responsibilities. Organizational projects and holiday decor have become something a little extra, that I really don’t mind doing. I still spend time with this family whenever I am asked. It is like coming home.

October 2015-August 2016

Jennifer and Joel Johnson are the parents of three school age children and one toddler. Their ages range from three to twelve. In this house, I am the first thing these kiddos see in the morning, as I am the person that prepares them for school, with lunches in hand and homework complete. The little guy and I drop the older children off at school. We keep ourselves busy going on field trips to the zoo, parks, library and many various playdates with our new play group. After school activities such as karate and gymnastics are my responsibility too. Also coordinating cleaning companies, laundry and pet care are my job too. Mom and Dad work all night and are not awake during the day.

May 2015- October 2015

Irina and Steve are the proud parents of a two-year-old. This was the most unique care giving experience; Both parents worked for a Major International Airline. When their schedules lapsed, I would take over and care for this little man. Sometimes for multiple days and nights. I basically stepped in and took the responsibility of regular daily care, including the house, the cars, and the schedule, until one parent would land and take over again. My schedule was flexible and sporadic. I was on an on-call type of status. November 2014-April 2015

Lydse and Chris are the parents of a three-month-old. This is a temporary full-time position until the completion of Lydse’s time working from home, ends. I had the opportunity to be involved with lots of FIRSTS with this sweet baby. First smiles, first time with someone other than Mom and Dad, first solid food, first tummy time, first sitting up and sleeping through the night and many, many, more huge milestones for an infant and Mom. I loved seeing his smiling happy face every morning! I Absolutely cannot forget daily walks with their amazing Australian Shepard, Pele! RIP PELE

June 2013-November 2014

Annette and Mark are parents to a wonderfully musically inclined adopted two-year-old boy. This family has a crazy busy schedule. I must be available and flexible with my times and days. They all keep me on my toes, with activities; Gymnastics, Gymboree, Music lessons, zoo adventures, eating out, parks and Lab school. On the days we are lucky enough to be at home this little guy loves, loves beating his multiple drums, playing his piano and singing at the top of his lungs. The water calls his name. We are always wet from head to toe! I insisted on ISR, Lifesaving swim lessons! Organic, healthy cooking is a must. Laundry, cleaning and pet care are also on my list. And may I add all our days are done with the practice of CONSCIOUS DISCIPLINE

2010-June 2013

Cindy and Russell have three beautiful adopted children. They are very close in age, so it is similar to having triplets. My care includes guiding this very bright, active, special needs trio with homework, play, meal preparation, running to extracurricular activities and amazing adventures. I also help with laundry and their new puppy. At his house there is no TV, at all! I consider this family, my family. Any free moment or day I have is spent with them. I swear I will be there for all their college graduations. Thank you, Team BOLTON! 2006- 2010

For Melissa and Scott, I provided direct daily care to two young adopted children until they reached school age, one with moderately complicated special needs. In addition to daily care

(playing, loving, etc.) I facilitated direct contact with schools, therapists, and physicians. Planned and coordinated household chores, activities and gluten free meals and followed through on ABA therapy protocols as needed. They were my very first clients! Wow, did I learn so much!

Additional Experience

Avery County School System: Title One Tutor and also Permanent Substitute. Surry County School System: Teaching Assistant. Camp I Can. Academic consultant and educational services for Brevard, Flagler and Indian River Florida Counties. World Special Olympics Equine division. Very special art festival. ISR Swim. Cross trained in CPR-First AID with the American Heart Association and the Red Cross, multiple times.
