As an optical lab supervisor my responsibilities included but not limited to the following duties. I was responsible for effectively managing all optical laboratory operations and to provide exceptional customer service on behalf of the Stanton Optical organization. I was in charge of supervising the crafting of quality eyewear for all customers. In addition, I manufactured eyewear in accordance with manufacturing regulations, following strict safety procedures. With my people personality, I naturally and effectively interact with colleagues, as well as existing and prospective customers. As a supervisor, I worked well with other lab supervisors and managers and use their leadership abilities to motivate optical laboratory professionals to reach all company goals in a timely manner. I oversee and supervised the correct cleaning and ongoing maintenance of optical laboratory tools and equipment as well. I have excellent problem solving skills in the optical world and used it as necessary to explore the underlying reasons for recurring laboratory issues and finding effective resolutions. In addition to my laboratory duties, I also trained new and existing employees to increase quality in the manufacturing process. I also performed final inspection duties.
