This letter of reference is for Officer Michael Murphy. Officer Murphy recently retired after

** ***** ** loyal employment here at the Salem County Correctional Facility as a corrections police

officer.

Officer Murphy was a very dedicated corrections officer. His interpersonal skills are

exceptional. He had an innate ability to adapt to whatever situation he encountered with inmates. He

treated everyone with respect and compassion. He was well liked by his co-workers. To his credit,

Officer Murphy also sought and obtained specialist positions during his career. He was a member of

the elite Response Team Unit, and the Home Electronic Detention and Transportation Unit. He was

never hesitant to take on new challenges.
