Moving out over 40 containers each day using FIFO methods to avoid demurrage charges and hit ship date with the client’s time frame. Manage, direct and train 50 full time and temp workers including 10 Equipment operators and 40 GLs. Maintain building and all facilities on site as well as ordering supplies and all maintenance on equipment.
Accomplishments
Reallocated door usage and personnel to maximize output, going from 20 containers a day to goal of 40 a day.
Restructured container spreadsheet to include gate in date and breaking out shipments by DC to show trailers needed. This allowed better forecasting of raw materials and equipment.
