During my ongoing career in telecom, I observed the need of organic dairy products in our community therefore I took the initiative, resigned from the job, hired 4 workers and started a dairy farm business on a small scale starting with 25 cows which were later raised to the number of 60 and it performed very well, but, winded it up in Dec, 2022 because of inflation and skyrocketing prices of the feed and freight and was unable to manage the expenses.

Monitoring animal health by observing the behavior and dung of each and every cattle in the morning

Cleaning the stable and pens by removing the dung and the dirt with the staff

Cleaning the barns, barnyards and also keep a check on the available inventory

Milking the cows and goats manually twice daily and collecting all the milk in the drums and delivering it to the respective purchasers were my main duties

We used to milk our cattle twice daily one in early morning

Rotating all the animals between grazing areas to provide enough access to sunlight, grass and water which was perfect for their physical health
