It has approximately150- 200 beds and operates 24 hours every day, the following services are provided:

Chemotherapy, Low Dose Brachytherapy, External Radiation, Palliative Care, Women Health Clinic (WHC), Surgical Services - Breast and Gynaecological, Gerontology / Geriatric, Physical Medicine Rehabilitation (PMR), Accident and Emergency, Medical-Surgical Unit.

Since 2012, I have been assigned to the Cancer Center of Trinidad and Tobago, which consists of a female ward that has a thirty two (32) bed and a male ward that has sixteen (16) bed capacities, a Peregrine Chemotherapy Suite which is used for one day chemotherapy treatment and two clinics the National Radiotherapy Clinic and the Women's Health Clinic

At present, I work at the Hess Benjamin Wing where patients and /or clients are referred from General Hospital, Health Centres or Private Institution for special assessments and/or treatments in the Oncology Area

As a Senior Registered Oncology Nurse based on education and years experience, I motivate and lead other category of staff through teamwork to provide medical, surgical, therapeutic and palliative services
