USS Competent- Dry Dock -- Brought in submarines for overhaul operations; inspected hulls of submarines for damage; hydro-blasted, primed, and repainted submarines for deployment; stood security and fire watch; maintenance and repairs for USS Competent.

Oil Spill Response Team – Placement of containment booms at ships and subs receiving fuel or hull work; endured safety measures were followed during fueling operations; inspected piers, pylons, and other areas of harbor to ensure security measures and other standards were followed.

Port Operations, Naval Station – Reported directly to Commander of Naval Station regarding communications and scheduling of harbor activities; controlled fueling, sonar, and diving operations in harbor; communicated with ship and sub Captains regarding scheduling of necessary operations while in port; downloaded message traffic between incoming and outgoing ships and subs.
