EXPERIENCE

Hardware Engineer AIO App Jun’2023 – Present

● Spearheaded the end-to-end design, decision making and development of next-generation hardware products, aligning with market trends and customer needs (especially of USA).

● Leveraged reverse engineering techniques to analyze competitor products and inform strategic hardware design decisions for competitive advantage.

● Collaborated with cross-functional teams to define hardware specifications and ensure alignment with project goals.

● Utilized analytical skills and systematic approaches to identify root causes of hardware failures and implement effective solutions.

● Designed and executed comprehensive hardware testing protocols, ensuring products met quality standards and specifications.

● Conducted thorough functional, stress, and performance testing to validate hardware designs and identify potential weaknesses.

● Obtained [relevant certifications, e.g., ISO, FCC, CE, UL, Energy Star] by meticulously adhering to industry standards and regulatory requirements.

● Collaborated with multidisciplinary teams, including software engineers, project managers, and industrial designers, to ensure seamless product integration.

● Strong communication skills to present technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Junior MERN Stack Developer LabD IT Solutions Mar’2023 – May’2023

● Working on development of Web RTC application using React Konva.

● Gained a strong understanding of responsive design principles, including fluid grids, flexible images, and media queries, which helped to create a consistent and user-friendly experience across multiple devices.

● Utilized the Material-UI (MUI) library to implement a consistent design system across the application and reduce the development time of UI components.

● Utilized Bootstrap to create a responsive and mobile-first design for the application, ensuring that it was accessible to users on a wide range of devices.

● Utilized Redux to manage the application's state, making it easier to track changes and debug issues.

● Participated in code reviews and provided constructive feedback to peers, which helped to improve the quality of the codebase.

Research Internee National Center of Robotics & Automation Jul’2021 – Sep’2021

● Conducted research on passive, semi-active, and active prosthetic knee joint mechanisms, and studied their applications in prosthetic devices.

● Conducted extensive research on the utilization of different types of cylinders, such as pneumatic and hydraulic, in knee mechanisms to evaluate their respective advantages and disadvantages in terms of weight, power consumption, and overall performance.

● Evaluated various microcontrollers and sensors for use in the project, ultimately selecting the ESP32 microcontroller and the HC-SR04 ultrasonic proximity sensor for their compatibility and cost-effectiveness. FINAL YEAR

PROJECT

IOT Based Passive Configurable Prosthetic Knee Joint

● Designed and developed IOT based four-bar linkage mechanism to create a prosthetic knee joint that could replicate the natural movement of the human knee joint, thereby providing a more natural and comfortable walking experience to the user.

● Utilized a pneumatic cylinder in the design of the knee mechanism to reduce weight and power consumption, while still maintaining optimal performance.

● Integrated the ESP32 microcontroller with a proximity sensor to detect the user's movement, including step count and cadence, and adjust the knee mechanism accordingly, thereby improving the overall functionality and usability of the prosthetic knee joint.

● Developed a mobile application using MIT App Inventor 2, enabling doctors and patients to monitor the prosthetic knee joint's cadence and performance on their smartphones. This feature improved recovery progress tracking for amputees and provided valuable data for doctors to adjust treatment plans. SEMESTER
