Facilitated nearly 1500 rag picker’s household survey who settled in kiosk/ thatched houses in the surrounding of Dhapa MSW site for about 40 years. They were Makaltala, Uchupota, Khanberia, Dhapa Durgapur and Anantabadal habitation/ settlements.

The public meeting with the stakeholder and communities of rag pickers were organized to prepare a feasible and effective ESMP for Community Development Programme. During the course of ESIA study the capacity building training Programme was also organized at regular interval for the regulatory authority like WBPCB, KMC and other stakeholders.

Activities Performed:

Preparation of RAP including monitoring of socio-economic survey, stakeholder meeting, identifying socially vulnerable groups, analyzing different impacts on different categories of people, providing technically and economically feasible mitigation measures, income restoration plan etc.

It also includes verification of Land Plan based on surveyed alignment on ground for confirmation, supply and fixing of ROW concrete pillars, preparing village wise application to DILR for JMS/JMR with Rojkam/Total Station Survey of boundary marking, preparation of Micro Plan and PAPs Data verification etc.

Carried out the social impact assessment and stakeholder’s consultation for the project. Facilitated nearly 1500 rag picker’s household survey who settled in kiosk/ thatched houses in the surrounding of Dhapa MSW site for about 40 years. They were Makaltala, Uchupota, Khanberia, Dhapa Durgapur and Anantabadal habitation/ settlements.

The public meeting with the stakeholder and communities of rag pickers were organized to prepare a feasible and effective ESMP for Community Development Programme. During the course of ESIA study the capacity building training Programme was also organized at regular interval for the regulatory authority like WBPCB, KMC and other stakeholders.

Activities Performed: To assess the Environmental and Social Safeguard, which are as follows:

Monitoring of Public Awareness to local community through television, newspaper, social media, notices or distribution of pamphlets about the schedule & location plan for trench excavation;

Community Consultation prior to commencement of the earth excavation/construction of Service Pillar or RMU/DTR
