EXPERIENCE

California Clinical Psychological Associate 2023–present

●Work 44 hours per week with 15-35 client sessions per week. Consult with clients virtually via video (all throughout California) and EHR software to provide and note for services. Use my clinical training to evaluate and treat, including the creation of treatment plans. Implement clinical knowledge into practice

●Require documentation for each client file: Informed Consent, Consent for telehealth services, Good Faith Estimate (in the first session and signed by the client), Notice of Privacy Practices, Practice Policies, Consent for Psychological Testing, Release of Information, Chart notes to document any form of communication with the client, Progress notes for each session, Emergency contact information, payment information, Insurance information, and Assessment records, court/probation documents (if applicable)

●Refer, to an appropriate agency, potential clients who indicate the need for routine crisis intervention.

●For clients expressing suicidal ideation: 1. Determine severity 2. Identify support figures 3. Help the client develop a safety plan 4. If hospitalization is considered, determine whether the client would voluntarily go it, and if the client does not go voluntarily, contact the local authorities

●If criminal activity is observed, notify the appropriate law enforcement agency or report the crime. Follow the ethical standards put forth by their corresponding associations (Board of Psychology, American Counseling Association, American Psychological Association)

●Build positive, trusted rapport with patients through a HIPAA compliant platform or in person on a 1:1 basis, with opportunities for group training, and required video training

●Use Simple Practice to schedule, bill, and store client records. Complete progress notes within 24 hours of the appointment. Complete Billing and invoices on the day of the session, except clients paying with insurance. Evaluate program quality and performance

●Practice with patients in a manner that utilizes best practices, that is ethical, and lawful, without Transference

●In weekly groups, observe and model peers, to repeat modalities and to integrate modalites into treatments. Review various trauma modalities, implement them and apply them into treatments

●Participate in periodic in person group retreats, where associates, therapists and psychologists can share best practices and professional development

●Attend ongoing training and continuing education with industry leaders, scientists, latest researches, and well known psychologists, who are advancing our practice and science
