I am new to the area and I’m looking for full-time employment. I’m looking for my retirement job with a company that appreciates their employees.

Set-up plastic injection molding machines- change molds, set water and mold temps, verify the correct material is being used, if applicable verify robot program is correct and the correct fixture for picking parts is on. Start machine to run some parts to do quality checks on. Once an operator has also done quality checks verify theirs are in spec also. Verify they have all needed materials to run and when they are ready start machine and robot up. Monitor that everything has started correctly and good parts are being made.

I have operated CNC machining cells to produce parts for engines or transmissions. First was the main shaft machining cell-I was responsible for 13 machines (Emag vertical turning center, Trichromatic Textron Spline roller, Gleason shaper and hob machines, DeHoff Gun drills, Edmunds gauge, 2 ABB robots and a Gudel overhead robot/gantry, Rachmaninoff water wash) for machining main shafts for transmissions. Also used hand gauges (micrometer, calipers, height gauges, depth gauges, feeler gauges, ring gauges, go/no go gauges, thread gauges, indicators, depth gauges) to check sizes of certain dimensions, used computerized programmed spec checking machines (Hommel and Klingelnberg) to keep track of sizes, replaced dull or broken tooling, performed tool changes, made offsets to keep parts in spec, maintain machines for proper operation, used overhead lifts/cranes. I have also ran CNC machining cells for machining flywheels in FL motors (2 robots and 6 machines- Mori Seiki CNC machines, DeHoff gun drills) and gear covers for XL motors (3 Mori Seki machines, 2 for roughing and 1 for finishing) and many of the operations and spec checks were similar to what was required of me in main shafts.
