WORK OUT WORLD NEW ENGLAND • Randolph, MA • 2020 to Present One of the top 30 health clubs in the US with revenues in excess of $18M annually. Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Sought out to restructure the brand and jumpstart growth. Oversee 13 locations based in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and New Hampshire, including all business functions and financial decision making.

• Increased profitability during national pandemic in 2021, delivering a $2.6M EBITDA in 2021 a 20% increase vs. 2019. Maintained increase in 2022 at 2.8M EBITDA.

• Amended Operating agreements to allow franchise entry, new ownership groups and new entities to be established. Added management company to oversee all club matters with new franchisee paying a flat fee.

• Opened first new location in 12 years in October 2022, including handling lease negotiations and raising the capital; completed construction at 25% of the cost of competitors and achieved profitability in month 5 of operations.

• Relocated 3 sites (lease negotiations, vendor management, grand openings, etc.) and each site benefited seeing a lease reduction of at least 600%, reducing cumulative market monthly rent from $400K to $193K, savings of $2.5M annually. Each location now exceeds $500k in EBITDA annually.

• Brought Human Resources and Marketing in house, achieving 19% cost savings while propelling a 25% lead generation increase.

• Optimized payroll, cut 8% annually with payroll now at 25% revenue vs. 33% upon arrival.

• Introduced company apparel at a 37% profit margin, with more than 400 branded items sold globally.

TOWN SPORTS INTERNATIONAL HOLDINGS (TSI HOLDINGS) • Boston, MA • 2013 to 2020

$467M operator of fitness clubs: brands at the time included Liv Fitness Clubs, Palm Beach Sports Clubs, Christi's Fitness, Around the Clock Fitness, New York Sports Clubs, Boston Sports Clubs, and Washington Sports Clubs. Vice President of Operations Multi-Market Leader (2018 to 2020) Reported directly to CEO. Promoted based on record of impressive business impact into an executive role to oversee operations (staffing model alignment, club operations, etc.) sales, retention, customer service, and financial goals by driving results through other multi-unit leaders. Directed entire organization, which included 150 fitness clubs and 37 regional leaders. Organization wide EBITDA more than $50M. P and L ownership for BSC, PBSC, and ATC, accounting for over 40% of the organization’s total revenue ($200M) and 50% of the organization’s EBITDA ($26.2M).

• Transformed 7 underperforming in Boston Sports Clubs market to achieve profitability in 30 of 31 clubs in the market within 12 months through strategic placement of talent, facilitating change, and providing support and decision making.

• Drove $3M YOY increase in revenue and $2.1M YOY EBITDA growth, reflecting a 17% increase YOY for BSC in 2019.

• Modeled 41-page plan-o-gram (COVID-19 protocols) for the entire organization and assisted in equipment sales in tight timelines to bring in additional cashflow from closing locations in 5 different states.

• Crafted companywide sales models/ training protocol increasing the average enrollment price by 25%.

• Integrated 16 new clubs in 3 states (FL, MA, and NYC) all of which were previous franchise or independent prior to integration.

• Decreased overhead 12% YOY alongside a minimum-wage increase effective Jan. 2019 in all markets.

• Guided company through Chapter 11 Bankruptcy (2020) following the exit of the CEO by working closely with the bankruptcy group to best position the company for a new buyer. Regional Business & Fitness Director - MA, RI & CT (2017) Promoted into a dually focused role, concurrently managing the staffing, team development, and controllable profit metrics for a specific/assigned demographic of clubs; as well as the total ancillary revenue growth for all 29 locations fitness services and products. Maintained P&L accountability for 5 locations.

• Led the company in member net gain with a total of 2,217 members gained at 5 P & L owned locations, contributing to increasing total revenue $1.8M in 2017.

• Hired and developed 9 new Managers/Directors in 2017; mentored new Fitness Director for NYSC market as well as backfill in BSC market. Regional Business Director - MA, RI & CT (2016 to 2017) Transitioned roles to oversee staffing and team development, and achieve controllable profit metrics in a specific/assigned demographic. Recruited and developed each of the 12 managers. Maintained P&L accountability across 4 locations (BSC / NYSC markets). Managed all labor lines to ensure efficient spending that leads to sustainable growth.

• Exceeded EBITDA by $840K in 2016 while capturing $90K+ in payroll savings, resulting in a net gain of more than 1,200 members via all locations in 2016.

• Hosted multiple corporate health fairs and formed new relationships with 13 accounts, boosting member count by 450 members. Regional Director of Fitness & Operations - MA, RI & CT (2013 to 2016) Provided leadership and direction to propel fitness revenue growth in a group of clubs within an assigned geography encompassing 28 locations, 26 managers, and 500+ employees. Maintained a three-pronged focus: (1) develop a high-performing team, (2) create a welcoming, productive culture/environment, and (3) achieve measurable results. Managed recruiting/staffing as well as professional development of each manager and club-level position.
