Work History: Fall 2017-Present

Front Desk: The Inn at St. John, Portland, ME, July 2023 – Present Responsible for supervising the lobby of the Inn at St. John, checking in hotel guests, answering the phone, preparing continental breakfast. I currently operate the night shift from 11pm-7am. Barista/Cashier: Simon’s Deli and Bagels, Bronx, NY, March 2023- June 2023 Made coffee drinks, milkshakes, tea, and ran the cash register. I learned how to manage complicated orders and had to be independent and efficient to maintain the fast pace at rush hours. Barback: Freddy’s Bar and Backroom, Brooklyn, NY, February 2023 – June 2023 Basic barback duties, including washing glassware, pouring basic drinks, bussing tables, and changing beer kegs. I also managed sound for the live music at the venue. I had some limited experience bartending. Deckhand/"Second Mate" and Tour Guide: Hartford River Cruises, Hartford, CT - May 2021 - August 2021 Managing riverboat guests on 1 – 3 hour tours of the Connecticut River as well as special longer "charter" events. I gave a narrated tour with historical facts of Connecticut, played guitar for entertainment, ran the snack bar, and maintained/cleaned the boat.

Cashier: Amato's Pizza, Portland, ME - May 2019 - August 2021 I learned customer service and how to serve food properly. I folded boxes for different food and was the person who handed food away to customers who ordered in person and from the phone. I ran the cash register and took hot food out of the oven and answered phone calls. Grill Cook: McDonald's, Falmouth, ME - November 2017 - January 2019 Learned about the specifics of how McDonald's manages a busy restaurant as well as how to prepare great amounts of food in a short amount of time. I was the grill cook who made burgers and I also was in charge of the fried foods. Occasionally I ran the cash register, stayed late for night/closing shifts, ran the drive through and made different types of food like breakfasts or salad. Education:
