Mechanical Supervisor

Working as a Mechanical Supervisor in M/s BLUE PETER In Various Departments Under Tata Steel Ltd Jsr Like Rolling Mill HSM (Hot strip Mill), LD3TSCR (Rolling Mill) & Crane Group#2 . From August 2022 Till now. JOB RESPONSIBILITY

General Responsibility :

* Attend and do preparation for Rolling Mills & EOT Crane shutdown maintenance work.

* Hydraulics cylinder changing and repairing.

* EOT Crane Spare Changing.

* Issue of spare from store and ready for maintenance.

* Offline and online Permit to work taken by department.

* Ensuring Electric, hydraulic Isolation.

* Tool Box Meeting conduction and make awareness of six directional hazards to the team.

* Daily job plan and daily PPE's Check sheet preparation.

* Review Tools and Tackles checklist.

* Attendance tracking and maintaining it into google sheet. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Supervision:

To lead a group of Technician / Fitter (instruction and guidance to Technician / Fitter) and participate in maintenance related development works.

Optimize Production :

To execute all scheduled (day-to-day, preventive) maintenance, corrective maintenance and major repairs of the equipments in order to optimize production & minimize plant down time for maintenance related development works.

Prompt Trouble Shooting:

Responsible for trouble shooting during breakdowns of mechanical equipments and provide the assistance to find out the root cause for corrective action maintenance related development works. Providing Solutions:

Responsible for attending mechanical maintenance problems during breakdowns in the RM Plant. To communicate to superiors of any abnormalities found in the mill in order to plan & rectify the same. Audit and Investigation:

Inspection of equipments to meet engineering principles and safety regulations in maintenance related development works.

Maintenance Support:

To assist and help Superiors in Mechanical Maintenance (HSM) in all technical areas to ensure smooth maintenance of the HSM for uninterrupted production and co-ordination with other departments. Implementing Standards:

Follow mechanical maintenance standards for all equipment in the HSM Plant. Policies and Procedures Management:

To follow all relevant safety, quality, health and environmental management policies, procedures applicable to maintenance related development.
