Roles:

Managing the day to day operations of the accounts department, like preparation and management of the hotels financial budgets, implementing and overseeing all activities relating to the financial aspects of the hotel in compliance with the local tax laws and also by the hotel’s SOP’s

Additional responsible for the financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, audit and control, assets and liability reconciliation, working capital and cash control Etc.

Also, doing the safekeeping and updating of all legal documentation relating to the financial status of the hotel.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the properties overall accounting and financial management requirement

Responsible to represent the finance department during daily morning HOD meetings

Responsible for the Local tax authority compliance of the hotel

Responsible to support and liaise with the General Manager in meeting the strategic goal of the organization.

Responsible for reporting and reviewing annual budgets, monthly forecast, operating result.

Responsible for verifying all financial reports and ensuring that all transactions are accurate and in compliance with local government regulation

Responsible to liaise with the hotel owners or managing director of the organization

Prepare and submit management reports in timely manner and also delivery within deadlines

Effectively implement all accounting policies and procedure

Strongly accounting and operational control environment to safeguard hotel assets

Assist to revenue enhancement possibilities, assist proactively with cost control requirements.

Assist with Profit improvement opportunities for the hotel operations

Develop specific goals and plans to priorities, organization and accomplish the work

Building of an efficient and professional team of employees within finance and accounting department.

Monitor all local tax compliance that applies, and ensuring that taxes are charge correctly and collected / paid

Maintain files the local tax with the concerned authority on a monthly / regular basis

Monitor and improve hotels operation cost, profitability and manage business risks

Review profit and losses are documented accurately, look out the property policies are administrated fairly and consistently

Assist to the overseas internal and external audit processes.

Establish and maintain open collaborative relationship with employees and vendors

Complete any other tasks and when required by the management.
