Job Responsibilities

•Planning and preparing two week look ahead quality activities and implement in a proper time frame.

•Review documents such as WPS, Procedures and IFC drawing for the project and

•Assigning coordinating Qc personals as per the site condition and company requirements

•Properly follow up and take a corrective and preventive action to close in a given ACD for the issued Proactive Notification or NCR from the Client.

•Prepare Weekly& Monthly report of Project repair rate and welder repair rate and controlling repair rate as per project requirement.

•Minimize RT backlog and ensure the RT coverage as per requirement.

•Monitoring and maintaining welder continuity reports.

•Ensure the storage of consumables as per the requirements.

Inspection of ProcessPiping for onshore & offshore

•Check and record welding parameters and verify compliance with approved WPS.

•Monitor welding activities such as (pre-welding Inspection, in-process & post welding inspection

•Inspection of electrodes, filler wires and gas used for welding.

• Control welding consumables and documents as per SAIC-W 2032.

•Visual Inspection of weld joints as per acceptance criteria of ASME-B31.3 and Aramco standards.

•Inspect/verify piping & weld modification after weld Acceptance (Rework& Weld repair) as per SAES-W11, SAEC-W2036 and B31.3.

•Organize and conduct welder’s qualification test as per ASME Section IX and 1104

•Issue non-conformity reports against non-complying conditions

•Incoming Material inspection.

•Coordinate with Client’s Project inspection unit for various project inspection activities and issues RFI (Request for Inspection) for witness/hold points.et

•Monitor performance of the welders on the basis of radiographic inspection and promote corrective action where necessary

•Coordinated and witnessed various NDT activities.

•Check and review DWR (Daily weld Report).

•Visual Inspection of structural weld joints as per acceptance criteria of AWS D 1.1

•Take corrective actions of the running parameters which deviate from the standard.

Inspection of Pipeline

•Experienced in pipeline (Flow line)and well head with modular skid piping such as production line, Kill line, Fill line, Blow down and Annuli risers.

•Experienced in temperature Tie -in joints.

•Visual Inspection of weld joints as per acceptance criteria of API 1104 for pipe line

•Monitoring onshore pipelines laying and piping hook-up activities.

•Conducts punch listings as per approved test packages.

Inspection of Storage Tank.

•Visual Inspection of weld joints as per acceptance criteria of API 650 and API 620 for Storage Tank.

•Inspection of floating roof, dome roof and cone roof tanks.

•Inspection of orientation of shell and roof nozzles.

•Visual inspection of tank shell and nozzles fit up and welds

•Well knowledge of Bulk Head and Duck plate Components Such as Outer and Inner Rim; Doubler plate; Duck support and inside stiffener or bulk head supports, etc.

•Well knowledge of Bottom and Roof components such as Rafters; Center Rim; Cross girders; gussets plates or connection plates and Annular and sketch plate joints and bottom plates lap joints; Annular to Shell plates and Sump pit, etc.

•Well knowledge of the RT selection as per code requirements and other tests such as PT and POT.

•Well experience in square groove welding with EGW process up to 45 mm thick plate in a single pass vertical joint with impact test requirement.
