JOB DESCRIPTION

Plan, organize, and manage the overall residential and light commercial construction development for a

builder in the Woodlands, TX ($18 million/year in contracts). As well as planning, organizing, and managing the overall construction building of multiple townhouses ($800,000 and up price range) in the Rice Military and Heights areas. Responsibilities include design and blueprint review and analysis of projects, preparation of construction documents, bidding, negotiation, sub-contractor selection, material purchasing, scheduling, project budget, building code compliance, project development, quality control, and certification of occupancy. Supervise crews of up to 30 trade workers.

KEY PROJECT AND SELECTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS

●Recruited to assist superintendent in troubleshooting stucco- related problems during the construction of a 10,000-sq. ft. home. Project completed two weeks early and 5% under budget.

●Completed $3.5 million, 8,000 sq. ft. home one week early. Challenge: 380 – day deadline with 78 days of rain.

●Oversaw the construction of a 9,000-sq. ft. home. Completed within deadline despite extensive material delays, architectural design challenges, and unforeseen subcontractor disputes.

●Detected numerous design problems with a 6,000-sq. ft. home. Brought project in on time and within budget.
