Undergraduate Research Assistant January 2021- May 2023 Project: Optical Yield of Gallium Arsenide (GaAs) Nanowires
● Researched the applications of photon sieves and other photodetectors.
● Conducted measurements and collected data.
● Took images of the focal points of a GaAs laser as it is focused through a photon sieve, which is a device for focusing light using diffraction and interference.
● This project was funded by NASA, and at the conclusion of experiments, scientists at NASA reviewed the results.
