Personal Statement:

I started in Oilfield in 1980 as a Slickline assistant with a local slickline company in West Texas. I consider myself to be a self-starting professional. I have 42 years of experience, a former Field Service Manager and specialist in completions/slickline and all aspects of completions, well interventions and their design in challenging locations with difficult logistical situations. I can bring together numerous individuals of diverse disciplines and skill sets to create a unified team motivated towards achieving one goal. Able to work in a fast paced, high-pressure environment where problem solutions are crucial. Skilled in interfacing with a broad spectrum of people of diverse cultures, both social and corporate. Previous experience includes relationships with Premier Oil, BP, KNOC, Cuulong JOC, Exxon-Mobil, Mobil, Amoco, Shell, Unocal, TOTAL, Lamson JOC, Thang Long JOC, HLHV JOC, Petro Vietnam, Petronas, PCML, PTTEP, Daewoo, BP, Conoco Phillips. 2019 - 2020: PTR Services International Co. LTD Songkhla Thailand. Advise on Technical aspects of recertification of Slickline PCE. Recert and test requirements. hydro test requirements and type of test. (BOP ram, test stuffing box test etc.) Advise on final test report. (Pressure test charts, summary of final test report etc.)

2018 (June): PVD Training Center – Technical advisor to IWCF trainer. Assist in revising training modules for IWCF Well Interventions, break down train modules so could be better understood by personnel whose first language was non-English, Assist in update revisions to technical changes in Completion Operations and equipment, Slcikline, Wireline, CT and Snubbing. Help better define IWCF requirements for well control revisions. Pass on firsthand offshore experience to IWCF trainers. Assists in creating online training modules. Clarify common mistakes in offshore operations to training staff. Attend and assist training classes. Give honest assessment and feedback of IWCF trainers performance.

Project Coordinator: Assist in project startups. Evaluate equipment requirements, base layout planning, water, and fuel requirements etc. Set up fueling and maintenance schedules for equipment. Track daily fuel consumption and costs. Update daily and weekly activity for each piece of equipment. Follow up and update with Project Manager though out day on progress, bottlenecks and issues or problems. Check specifications, elevation, and course design during clearing, grubbing, shaping. (Tee boxes, Greens, sloping Etc.) Plan for irrigation and drainage installation hole by hole as work progresses. Assure sand quantities and quality prior to final shaping and grass seeding. 2015 -2016: Expro Slickline Service Deliver Coach. Brunei. Shell Brunei contract. Manage training and competency of all slickline personnel in both Completion and Well Interventions. Supervised startup operations offshore for completions and well interventions. Set up Learning Management System for Brunei operations. Generated and monitored Pressure test procedures for PCE components. Trained and assure all personnel competency in Rig up and Rig down, Pressure/Function PCE Testing, Downhole Circulating components, Flow control devices, Completion Components, Gaslift operations, General W/L Operations, Mast Unit Operations, Multistrand Operations, Fishing Operations, Hydrates control, Offshore Safety, and H2S. Introduced the Zero Wire Break Program. (No wire breaks in 2015 or 2016). Participated in offshore evaluation of offshore personnel performance and audits. Attended pre and post job meetings. Reviewed client end of job reports for accuracy of all slickline operations. Reviewed and authorized all Risk assessments for Slickline operations. Generated end of month reports for personnel competency LMS and Zero Wire Break Program. Job made redundant due to slump in oil industry.

2014: Baker International Upper Completion Supervisor. Malabo/Luba Equatorial Guinea. Make up and test completion assemblies prior to loading out of equipment. Supervise offshore running of upper completion into lower sand control completion. Upper completion consisting of snap in anchor latch with PBR, Gauge mandrel spacing out of GLMs and testing and running SSSV. Completed termination through tubing hanger and wellhead.

2010 – 2014: Schlumberger Well Intervention Slickline Field Service Manager for South East Asia. Manage all slickline operations in Vietnam, Thailand, Myanmar, Malaysia, Brunei, and Philippines. Manage all finance, personnel and

equipment. Started up slickline operations in Labuan Malaysia and

Myanmar. Current operations in EAG consist of twelve units - 40 personnel.

Introduce innovative technologies into EAG. “Digital Slickline Live and

Downhole Temperature Surveillance “.

Vung Tau completion operations -In charge of all completion operations and supervision of completion operations / base facilities / personnel. Forecasted monthly revenue, reviewed P&L and balance sheets at month end. Review completion programs, equipment and advise clients of any required changes or amendments. Well completions consisted of upper and lower completions. Lower completions included sand screens, swell packers, and Quantum packers with service tool. Staged acid jobs were performed on lower completions. Upper completions consisted of nipples, production packer, GLMs, down hole gauge and SCSSSV. Conduct pre and post job meetings with crews assigned to jobs. Assure service quality to all clients in Vietnam. Supervised make up and testing of completion assemblies. Set up and tested GLV’s as per client’s program. Supervised offshore installations of completion equipment. Emphasized all personnel stayed focused on service quality and HSE. Assured all personnel meet reporting requirements of HSE and SQ issues as per Slb. and client standards. Assured all personnel training requirements were met as per Slb. fixed step program. Project involvement with Cuulong, HLHV, KNOC, Dai Hung, and Truong Son. Good understanding and experience of government regulations and requirements in foreign countries.

Significant achievements:

Brought TMV SQ and HSE reporting in Vietnam from #8 in MEA to #1 in reporting consecutively for 2 years.

Set up and implemented Service Quality Plan in Vung Tau.

Successfully completed Cuulong ERD wells (First ERD wells in Vietnam) and conclusion of Slb contract with Cuulong.

Successfully completed HLHV completion project.

Successfully completed Truong Son gauge installations project.

Assisted Cuulong in installation of lower completions when new contractor encountered problems with lower completion packer. Able to locate and supply Quantum packers to prevent delays in completion of wells.

Successfully got Dai Hung subsea completions safety valves open on 2 wells after being shut in for a long period of time. Devised trouble shooting plan step by step to identify problem. Both wells are currently producing.

Secured more completion shop area on Slb. base to ensure all clients’ requirements can be met.

Set up a structured system in the completion dept. at Vung Tau base. This included SQ and HSE reporting, daily operations efficiency, planning and deployment of completions, end of well reporting for both Slb. and clients.

2002– 2007: Schlumberger Completion & Slickline Supervisor / Engineer

Project Responsibility: Completion/Slickline operations DPC (3 rigs and 4 slickline crews). Note: Based in Clients DPC office.

Completion / Slickline Supervisor / Engineer for the Dubai Petroleum Company contract. Set up both slickline and completions base including Service Quality Plan for both completions and slickline operations. Operations consisted of 1 to 3 rigs. Schlumberger Representative for Completion and Slickline with office located within the D.P.C. Complex. Advise. D. P.C. on all technical aspects of completions and slickline. Crew and equipment included. slickline units with complete slickline package, 5 slickline crews consisting of 3 man crews and 5 completion personnel. Track all slickline jobs. Maintain all records of maintenance of units, wireline, lifting gear and slings. Write slickline procedures Review well records and slickline procedures prior to performing work. Involved in well interventions with slickline operations. Manage movement of crews and equipment to assure work was performed in an efficient manner. Travel offshore to supervise fishing jobs or any special problems. Conduct offshore maintenance and safety audits. Forecast all completion equipment including Well Head Equipment, SSSV ‘s, GLM, s, Packers, PBR’s, Nipples, SSD, Tubing and Pup Joints. Designed and wrote completion programs and procedures. Design completion tubing strings. Update well Schematics. Supervise make up and testing of completion equipment prior to running completion. Travel offshore to rig and supervise running of completion. Duties include making tubing tally offshore, supervising packer setting procedures, testing completion string, testing packer, testing casing, and testing SSSV, after completion has been run. Update all completion data in D.P.C. live link database. Advise D.P.C. on latest completion and slickline technology. Involved in tenders for other clients in UAE. Reviewed and advised on technical aspects of tenders in both slickline and completions.

Significant achievements:

Fished 8600’ of e-line cable from high producing well.

Successfully ran first completion utilizing SLB completion equipment for DPC/ ConocoPhillips

Successfully ran first Intelligent Completion for DPC/ ConocoPhillips worldwide.

Introduced new TRMAXX-5E Self equalizing SCSSSV into DPC operations.

Introduced and ran e-fire technology successfully. Set bridge plugs, cut tubing and punched tubing with slickline resulting in time, logistics and cost savings to DPC.

Underwent all DPC Audits with minimal problems.

5 years Completion NPT less than .02% on rig

5 years no LTA in completion or slickline operations.

1997 – 2002: Schlumberger- International. Completion Specialist

(Rotating out of Egypt for Gupco)

(B.P. Amoco Egypt). Operations covered 6 rigs. Advise Gupco completion supervisor on completion design and equipment. Tested and prepared all completion equipment. Supervise offshore running of completion. Duties include handling tubing tally, making run sheet spacing out packers, GLM’s, and Safety Valves at deeps according to completion programs. Trained in running and handling chrome tubing including computerized torque makeup. (Kawasaki Fox and Vam threads). Types of Completions run in Gupco Egypt operations: SubSea, ESP, Gas Lift, Water Injection and Straddle packer completions. Familiar with Camco, Halliburton, Guiberson and Baker completion equipment.

Significant achievements:

Introduction of innovative technologies: TRM SCSSSV and a new line of Site Oil tool Packers.

Completed deepest well in Gupco field. Packer setting depth of 17,500’.

Ran largest ESP pump worldwide 11.25” O.D. (60,000 BPD water production)

1993 – 1997: Camco International services. Wireline specialist

(Rotating out of Egypt for Gupco - Amoco Egypt).

Supervise all wireline fishing jobs. Advise and handle all special wireline problem jobs that occur in Gupco drilling and production operation. Tested and evaluated all down hole SSSV problems. Locked out and set secondary SSSV if necessary. Advise Gupco Completion supervisor on wireline completion designs. Tested wireline Completion equipment prior to running completions. Responsible for wireline equipment and crews offshore to rigs and production platforms. Received several letters of recognition for outstanding effort while performing successful fishing jobs resulting in large savings to Gupco operations.
