1995 – 2005: Sr. Director of Human Resources

I began my career with Asyst as a Contract Recruiter and shortly thereafter joined RFT as their Employment, Compensation & Benefits Manager. I was subsequently promoted several times, ultimately to Sr. Director, Human Resources. My responsibilities included managing the HR & Talent Acquisition Teams and directing the Human Resources activities for a rapidly changing organization. This included completion of an IPO and subsequent Compensation Committee engagement for compensation, compliance, and governance matters.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS INCLUDE:

- Successfully merged six different acquisitions over a three-year period.

- Developed an HR organization that was able to support global employee growth from 350 to 1700.

1987 - 1994: Vice President of Human Resources / Operations In creating this department for the company, I developed all policies and procedures while ensuring legal compliance in 30+ states. I was responsible for nationwide recruiting, salary, bonus administration, and benefits. My responsibilities also included selection and implementation of an HRIS system.

Prior to my Human Resources responsibilities, I began my career at OSI in operations as a Distribution Center Manager in their Chicago facility producing an annual volume of approximately $15 million per year. After only 6 months in this capacity, I was promoted to National Operations Manager and transferred to the corporate office in San Leandro. At that time my responsibilities included managing our current distribution network of 20 locations and preparing for significant growth. Over the next 4 years, I was promoted to Vice President Operations and was responsible for the opening of 40 new distribution centers across the United States. I was responsible for the overall operations of these centers ($170M) and employees. This included all staffing and training, employee relations, policy and procedure development, customer service/inside sales, inventory management, fleet management and receivables/collections management.
