Major Responsibilities:

• Scrutinizing with compliances with various departments of various states as well as Delhi, opening of foreign project office in India, meeting tax compliance or commercial compliance as per RBI guide, and handling account of 3 no’s foreign project companies within the group up to finalization of balance sheet as per Indian accounting standard, internal audit as well as US GAAP

• Approval of vendor’s bills and contractors’ bills as well as approval of site accounts, monthly scrutiny of trial balance, reconciliation of bank statement, creditors/debtor reconciliation and to clear/adjustment of entries

• Daily follow-up with banks, fund syndication from bank and NBFC, opening of LC and BG, presentation of project report, CMA, MSOD, against funding or working capital etc., and preparation of monthly budget etc and disbursement of fund

• To get the statutory audit and coordinate in preparation of profit and loss accounts as well as finalization balance sheet annually up to income tax assessment and scrutiny, handling of income tax assessment, sales tax, GST, PF and ESIC case etc., and income tax assessment case or scrutiny case liaising with government department

• Actual performance of individual order, monthly comparison with the projection, billing under sales in transit, collection, clearance of legal aspect etc., pre-closure clearance of legal activities involved in projects before final handover

• Import - export documentation, drafting of minutes of meeting etc., leading team of 8 members in 3 companies in my team Foreign Project Exposure:

• Obtaining lower deduction certificate (LDC) from international taxation department, arrangement of project insurance, workmen compensation policy, and foreign bank guarantees, discounting of letter of foreign LC etc.

• Reporting through US GAAP (quarterly basis) to parent company, submission AAR to RBI reporting, and finalization of balance sheet and submission of ITR

• Meeting state-wise compliance or anything thereto, import clearance under approved port as per mega power arrangement, and collection and disbursement planning on monthly basis

• Reconciliation before final handover of project to the respective clients, import and export compliance or duty-free import under PAC compliance
