CONSENT

USAA1 wants to make it easy for you to receive paperless delivery of records electronically2 about your USAA membership3 and the insurance, accounts, policies, contracts, products and services you obtain and maintain during the course of your relationship with us and the transactions you make with or through us (collectively “USAA Products and Services”). With paperless delivery, you can securely receive all of your “Documents” electronically when and where you want to receive them, whether you’re home or away. As used in this Electronic Delivery Consent, the term “Documents” at a minimum includes, but is not limited to, correspondence, transaction records, required disclosures (including, but not limited to, prospectuses and brochures), forms, notices, Product Agreements4, statements (including, but not limited to, confirmations and periodic reports), bills, tax forms, binding legal agreements, communications reflecting our decisions regarding your online transactions

(including, but not limited to, adverse action notices), communications confirming selections made by you as shown in your Preference Settings on USAA.com and in our mobile application, and other information concerning your USAA Products and Services sent or provided to you by or on behalf of USAA. We provide electronic delivery of most of your Documents to your secure online “My Documents” page on our website (USAA.com) and our mobile application (which can be downloaded from your phone or mobile device’s app store). Generally, we’ll notify you by email or other electronic method, depending on your preferences and applicable law, to alert you when new Documents are delivered electronically to your My Documents page. You can file, print or download any of your electronic Documents until they expire. We recommend that you print or save the electronic Documents and keep them safely for your records.

Documents provided electronically will be deemed delivered effective upon placement on your My Documents page, regardless of whether or not a notification is sent to you and whether or not you access them on either USAA.com or the mobile application.

You are entitled by law to receive some of your Documents on paper. With your consent and if you meet the following requirements, we may provide your Documents to you electronically instead. If you want to receive Documents related to your USAA Products and Services electronically, you must provide us with a valid email address (or have a valid email address on file with us), establish a USAA Profile and satisfy the hardware and software requirements described below.

Whether or not you have consented for us to provide Documents to you electronically, we may always, at our option, choose to deliver the original and/or a courtesy duplicate copy of certain Documents to you on paper, without further advance notice to you, at your mailing address on file with us. By clicking “I Agree, Accept, Next, Submit, or Save”, as the case may be, you acknowledge that you: (a) have received, understand and agree to this Electronic Delivery Consent; (b) understand, agree, and consent for USAA to provide to you electronically Documents concerning all of your USAA Products and Services, or if you do not select

“All,” then Documents for the selected USAA Products and Services; and (c) you certify that you meet the following hardware and software requirements:

(1) I have a computer with a working current version of a web browser compatible with USAA’s website and/or Mobile Application, access to the internet, at least 16 MB of available memory, a telephone, broadband or other internet access device, the ability to download and to print documents, and a current version of Adobe's Acrobat Reader software, which you can download and install free by clicking on the link provided. https://get.adobe.com/reader; and

(2) I have a valid and designated email address on file with USAA which I agree to keep up-to-date in My Profile on USAA.com or in the USAA mobile application, or by calling USAA. Sometimes the law, or our agreement with you, requires you to give us a written notice. You must still provide these notices to us on paper, unless we specifically tell you in another communication how you may deliver that notice to us electronically.

If you are completing an application or transaction on USAA.com or our mobile application and do not wish to proceed with this Electronic Delivery Consent, then do not click “I Agree, Next, Submit, or Save” in your application or transaction. In some cases, if you do not consent to electronic delivery, then to complete your application or transaction you instead will need to call USAA and a customer service representative will assist you. If you are selecting or changing your delivery preferences on USAA.com or our mobile application and do not wish to proceed with this Electronic Delivery Consent, then select a paper delivery preference. If you believe that you have made an error in your selection of delivery preferences, or if you have questions about your delivery options, call USAA or visit the My Profile and Preferences page on USAA.com or our mobile application. You may request a paper copy of a Document that we delivered to you electronically at any time by using the Contact Us feature on our website or in our mobile application. Where allowed by law, we may charge a reasonable fee for delivery of a paper copy or impose other consequences specified in your Product Agreement for delivery of a paper copy. You should also check specific Product Agreements for any electronic document requirements, charges or conditions applicable to those products before requesting a paper copy of a document related to that product. Subject to applicable law, you may withdraw your consent for electronic delivery at any time by calling USAA or by changing to a Paper delivery preference on the My Profile and Preferences page on USAA.com or our mobile application. Your withdrawal of consent is effective only after you have communicated your withdrawal to USAA, as applicable, by calling USAA or by making the change on usaa.com or our mobile application, and we have had a reasonable period of time to act upon your withdrawal. Withdrawing your consent will only affect the delivery of electronic Documents and will not affect the enforceability of any transaction. Any Documents already provided electronically will not be re-sent unless specifically requested. Where allowed by law, a reasonable fee may be charged for paper copies of already-provided electronic Documents. We will not impose any fee when you withdraw your consent for electronic delivery. Your Product Agreement will specify such consequences of withdrawal, including possible termination of the account, product or service. If your email address or other contact information changes, you need to let us know promptly by updating your information on USAA.com or our mobile application or by calling USAA. E-SIGN-NAME
