Professional Statement
I desire to continue working as a Senior Clinical Social Worker and/or supervising same while enhancing
client’s self-acceptance/self-esteem and working with active-duty military or veterans and those dealing
with PTSD, depression, anxiety and other mental health issues.
To perform above role further enhancing team-based screening, multi-factor comprehensive
assessment, treatment and referral options including availing of structured peer support and
supervision. On a personal level, I aim to further develop my expertise in research and outcome-based
CBT psychotherapy, multi-level psychological assessment, risk management, suicide prevention, PTSD
treatment (including use of certification in Cognitive Processing Therapy) and case-management.
Populations of interest include working with active duty, reserves and veteran service members and
persons in the general public. Areas of special interest include working with Active-Duty Personnel,
Veterans, Persons living with PTSD, Affective Disorders, Addictions, Mental Health Difficulties, Persons
with Housing Needs, Stress and Those Coming to Terms with their Sexual Orientation and/or Identity.

The applicant has a terminal master’s degree and a state license to provide Senior Level Clinical
Social Work Therapy at the highest level of independent clinical practice utilizing a combination of
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and/or Advanced Generalist Modalities. The applicant has a foundation of
skilled supervisory practice including supervising other students and providing clinical support to other
junior staff. The applicant has advanced clinical and administrative skills required for client working in
the various mental health domains. Training included learning advanced competencies in Rational
Emotive Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (RE-CBT) (See Post-Masters Diploma below), in the Addictions
(Writer has attained the highest credential in the field “Fellow” for making a significant contribution to
