Starting as a graphic designer, each new opportunity gave me the chance to learn more skills and grow as a professional. Working primarily for small companies, my responsibilities often extended beyond my official job title. That meant I could learn each new role before officially earning the title. So, from designer to art director, to project manager, I learned as I went. But some of the most valuable lessons I learned along my journey, is how to manage a team of diverse creative individuals. Having been in their shoes, no matter the role, gives me insight into what they need to be the best at their role. I’m always learning, even now. But I’ve also found great joy in teaching and mentoring others. I look forward to my next challenge allowing me to do that.
