EDUCATION

Vista Ridge High School, 6888 Black Forest Rd. — High School Diploma

August 2016 - May 2020

I graduated from Vista Ridge High School during the year 2020. I have learned many of the leadership skills I have today from taking multiple AP and Honors classes, participating in extracurricular activities, and volunteering to tutor. My sophomore year, I was captain of the JV Cheer team. My freshman year and sophomore year, I took part in

“Leadership”, which was a class/club where we learned how to apply these skills to various life experiences. My senior year, I was an Algebra and Geometry tutor for my peers. Graduating during a pandemic was certainly not easy, but it did allow me to build on specific skills. Even after taking AP and Honors classes, graduating was not a guarantee. Senior year, I struggled to make up for a class from the year prior. That class and switching to online almost cost me my diploma, but with hard work and determination, I powered through. I continue to pursue the short and long term with the same determination and leadership skills, among others, that got me across that stage.
