My entry level position was tele-registrations specialist, which involved taking information from disaster victims for claims/assistance. I moved from that into facilities management specialist. This position required daily routine maintenance to copiers, such as changing ink cartridges, ensuring paper was in the machines, maintenance on cubical partitions, floor plans for additional cubicles, and picking up and delivering property and supplies. For the last 15 years I worked as an inventory management specialist, subject matter expert for property management, instructor of property management functions and techniques, teaching rules and laws that govern property management and information. At times I was assigned and required to hold myself accountable for up to thirty-six hundred pieces of government property. I also spent time in the field in support of disaster operations. The length of the deployments was from one to four months and was dependent on the amount of property and the scope of the operation. I am also a certified coach evaluator.
