Dr. Cody D. Nix earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio and then a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Texas Chiropractic College in 2011. During which Cody enjoyed internships at Cenikor, Reconstructive Orthopedic Center in Houston, Moody Health Center, and Rice University Houston.

Dr. Nix practices the traditional philosophy of Chiropractic which is subluxation and structural correction of the spine. Dr. Nix's first experience in Chiropractic care was after a crippling injury while snowboarding after which he believes that the only reason he can live a full and active life today is because of the Chiropractic care received.

Dr. Nix's primary focus has been on removing nerve interference (subluxation) and restructuring the spine to its most stable biomechanical position. This is done through a rehabilitation program of chiropractic adjustments and spinal exercise. The length of correction and the frequency of adjustment are determined by the severity of the patient's subluxations and structural alignment. Dr. Nix believes symptoms may be gone long before the spine is in the maximum corrected position. Adjustment schedules are kept intense to allow structural correction in the shortest amount of time. The patient is then closely monitored by postural patterns, X-rays, and spinal readings until the subluxations are corrected and the spine is in its proper alignment.

Dr. Nix is a seasoned Chiropractor skilled at providing Family, Pediatric and Pregnancy Specific Care, Chiropractic Manual, Drop Table and Activator Adjusting, Radiographs, Exams: Physicals, Sports and Personal Injury. Dr. Nix is also certified in Graston Technique.

Dr. Nix's personal battle with cancer, cancer treatment, and all the changes it has manifested in his own body and life has made Dr. Nix an even more compassionate and focused Doctor of Chiropractic. Dr. Nix's incredible personal journey including his own rehabilitation through health and fitness is empowering and encouraging to his patients as well as all others he encounters.
