Feb 2020 - Oct 2022: HSE Manager – China Oil HBP Middle East Company (overseas EPC) Iraq Led and managed strategically in all Occupational Health, Environmental, Safety responsibilities for company and to meet all clients' requirements in active projects, HSE standards document development, site safety compliance, PTW coordination/management, risk management, SIMOPS management, staff HSE training, occupational health programs development and management including covid-19 protocol implementation for staff. I led the HSEQ of the company to achieve the company HSEQ goals, coaching of the HSEQ team, HSE training, collaboration with Security department to ensure safety and security of the company assets (human & non-living), emergency planning and management, stakeholder management of regulatory authorities and other HSE executive duties. Achieved a zero-fatality year in the organization during my stint. October 2013 - April 2015: Process Safety Engineer – Pan Ocean Oil Corporation (Nigeria) Limited Onsite, I led health team, safety & environmental management programs in the operation of the Ovade-Ogharefe Gas Plant and Flow Station and supported in safety engineering of the Gas Plant Phase 2 project to achieve safe designs and construction of same in the facility. I ensured compliance to safety standards as stipulated in NFPA, ASME API amongst other relevant standards. Together with the team, we achieved safe plant operations and construction of Phase 2 of the plant at zero-LTI record of over 800,000 man-hours achieved during the period January 2010 – September 2013: Environment, Health, Safety Security Quality Officer – Oando Marketing Plc, Nigeria (Oil and Gas Downstream)

I supported the Terminal manager of Oando’s Port Harcourt Terminal Port Harcourt to achieve safe completion of the terminal upgrade at zero LTI. I established environmental sustainability and safety programs in the fuel stations and coordinated safety of oil terminal operations while conducting HSE training, ensuring quality in service delivery in the South-South retail stations, and environmental protection e.g. to eliminate spills in the terminal and fuel stations thereby reducing operations and accident costs of the fuel retail business of Oando leading to downtrend in the OPEX of the fuel retail business of Oando in the South-South region while improving on Stakeholder management with industry regulators e.g. DPR, FME, NOSDRA and State ministries of health and environment. Achieved all operations and project in the facilities at zero-LTI.

June 2008 – December 2009: Environment, Health & Safety Advisor (Systems & Assurance) - Oando Plc Lagos, Nigeria (Oil and Gas Downstream)

I worked at the head office of the Oando Marketing subsidiary of the Oando Plc to provide effective monitoring in operational activities of the field locations (terminals, aviation depot, warehouse & filling stations) to ensure compliance with appropriate regulations, standards and other relevant policies in the industry and engaged in: Establishing Environmental Aspect of the operation, Developing HSE Training and execution, Conduct of EHS&Q Audits and follow up of NCs; Review of Company’s EHS Manual in line with the elements specified in ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001; Assisted EHS manager in development of EMS & OHS-MS based on ILO & IFC Sustainability Framework for implementation in all company facilities; Review of group EHS policies; contractor EHS management February 2007 – June 2008: Health Safety Security Environment & Quality Advisor – Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria Limited. Soku Swamp Installation: LNG processing Plant and Oil Flow Station Onsite, I led the facility’s HSEQ program to achieve safe operations and maintenance of the integrated LNG plant and flow station while achieving ISO 9001:2000 certification of Soku District – being 1st Shell facility to achieve QMS certification in the East. I played a champion’s role in ISO 14001 Re-certification, which was done in 2007. Together with the Soku team, achieved zero LTI and zero Fatality throughout period of my service, Jan. 2005 – June 2008. January 2006 – February 2007: Project Construction Health Safety Environment Supervisor – Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria Limited. Soku Swamp Installation: LNG processing Plant and Oil Flow Station. I was seconded to the project team from the Asset team during the construction of 3rd Gas process train (with concurrent gas production) to increase production of natural liquefied gas from 577 million to 1 billion scf/day. Onsite, I interfaced and worked on behalf of Production Asset team with the EPC Contractor, SAIPEM Contracting Nigeria Limited, to safely deliver with the contractor over 3.5 million man-hours at zero-LTI completion of the project. January 2005 – January 2006: Health Safety Security & Environment Data Analyst – Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria Limited. Soku Swamp Installation: LNG processing Plant and Oil Flow Station. Under the direction of the HSE Coordinator, I handled data analysis for all HSSE program implementation while developing databases to manage HSSE records like PTW, Audits, Spills, Waste management etc. During this period, I played an active role in achieving OHSAS 18001 Certification, which was awarded to Western Swamp – to be the 1st team to achieve a full OHSAS 18001 Certification in the Eastern Region of SPDC in December 2005.
