Maintenance and troubleshooting of a variety of vendors In-building Repeater systems which include CSI, Westell, and ADRF repeater systems.
Maintain the remote connectivity of all DAS and Repeater systems via wireless 4G modems and ensure all equipment is reporting to the Site Portal alarm monitoring database.
Support all firmware upgrades for multiple DAS and Repeater systems at over 130 locations within the Indiana and Kentucky markets.
Maintain the inventory of all DAS and Repeater components and process the repair and return process for all equipment.
Maintain the calibration and integrity of all test equipment necessary to perform my job.
Support the In-building eNB LTE and AWS Integrations for the Indiana market.
Additional responsibilities
Maintain inventory of all IP addresses assigned to all installed equipment.
Maintain company vehicle to written standards.
Schedule site visits with customers for maintenance, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.

May 7, 2001-December 31, 2013 Technician-Cell (Verizon Wireless)
Maintenance and troubleshooting of Lucent Technologies PCS CDMA minicells and versions 3.0, 4.0, 4.0B Modcells, LTE Ericsson ENodeBs, and the IBS systems in the Louisville KY market
Supported the eNB Integrations for the Kentucky market (Louisville, Lexington, and London).
Assigned as the lead technician for the In-Building Systems in the Kentucky market.
Actively supported Ethernet Backhaul (EBH) conversions including loading the Alcatel Lucent 7705 SAR-8 router configurations, cabling, and light fiber testing capabilities.
Maintain cell site microwave radios/mux, ISCO RF Notch filters, power plant equipment including 24/48 VDC plants, battery and generator backup systems, Flash Technologies tower lighting systems, and overall shelter and site compound conditions
Fiber testing utilizing the JDSU QT-600 virtual test tool as well as T1 end to end testing using Net-Analyst and Acterna 2209 test set, Test environmental and base station alarms, Perform the initial troubleshooting of possible RF interference, Receive, investigate, resolve and track customer trouble tickets via Remedy.
Installation of all capacity/carrier additions including the testing of new spans for acceptance, Monitor cell site statistics daily using RTT, JDSU Net Optimize and Chicago WebView
Interface on a daily basis with NOC, field and switch techs, and/or System Performance to resolve network issues in a timely manner.
Provide field support for new cell construction in the following areas: on site supervision, equipment delivery coordination, equipment installation, cell integration, and cell optimization.
24 hour on call rotation to address after hours network issues in Louisville KY market every 4th week of each month and some night work for maintenance.
Maintain records of inventory, returned and repair items related to cell site equipment and new cell construction for Sarbanes Oxley requirements via CATS Inventory system
Support sales staff by interfacing regularly to report network outages and network enhancements.
