Managed antepartum, intrapartum, triage, postpartum, and newborn patients in one of the largest accredited freestanding birth centers in collaboration with Grady Hospital and physician directors.
Assisted in medicated and evidence based non-medicated pain management techniques, provided emotional support, established trusting relationships, and educated patients on the labor, delivery, and postpartum process and provided the skills education necessary to care for their newborn including lactation support.
